“Very nice new resort. Car required”

Brand new resort. Fixtures, fittings etc in room all top notch. All the comfort you could expect. Only draw back there was no bar near and you had to drive to reception, pool as very spread out.

“Nice place, shame about the eggs.”

Impressed by layout of site, apartments and facilities. Quiet location in early May - but whole area was not at all busy which surprised us. Out of the way of the Albufeira Old Town and main 'strip' which we knew and therefore suited us fine. If you enjoy a walk and are fit enough to manage the hilly setting then it's for you. We hired a car (not just for that but to get around and as transport to and from the airport). The not so good part is that we added breakfast to the package. This, we independently dubbed a 'works or school canteen' which we have seen from other reviews is exactly what some other people thought! - Great minds! Glad we didn't opt for lunch and dinner!

“Nearly very good”

The resort is excellent in location, cleanliness & layout. Only drawbacks are the quality of the food at the restaurant and pool bar (very poor) and the overcrowding at the pool areas, especially morning/lunchtime. The shuttle to the old town is convenient, but the last one leaves at 6pm; too early for dinner. If you have a car, none of these points are a problem (plenty of good beaches nearby); if not, you will need to do some walking or use taxis to make the most of your holiday. Finally, the Resort does have wifi, but there is a considerable charge, which is unnecessary, given the accommodation rates.
