“Loved It”

Great location, views, food and staff. Easy to travel to from Faro. Lots to see and do in surrounding area. Must have a car. My only problem was that the bed was too hard for me and no hairdryer or kettle. All is beautifully clean. I can highly recommend this hotel. The breakfasts and dinners was ample. I loved it. “Pleasantly surprised”

A good 3* hotel, with the sound quality of service its outstanding feature. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Tey were very knowledgeable about the region and happy to recommend places to visit. There is a 'sister hotel' in Altura (abt 8 kms, a 4* hotel whose vastly superior facilities were available to us - tennis, larger pool, a 'wellness centre' and well equipped gym. We were on half-board and found the quality and variety of the food excellent. The rooms were very clean and everything in working order. the beds were hard, but very comfortable. The facilities were better than we would have expected for a three star hotel. The swimming pool was slightly on the small side, but adequate and fine for children. The only drawback for us was the location. We were 4kms from Tavira town so we couldn't wander into town after our evening meal and as we did not have a car we had to rely on the hotel shuttle ( which was pretty good anyway) to get to the town and some other places during the day, and taxis in the evenings. We found in the end that we spent quite a bit on taxis. This hotel is a good base for exploring the region if you hire a car. You can still manage without a car, as we did. There was some evening entertainment at the hotel, but this could have been improved. All the rooms have balconies, with good views from the second and third floors. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, especially as the service was excellent.

“Sunny Relax”

I was looking for a peaceful sunny break to just lounge around & read all day the Eurotel was perfect for that! The decor was slightly outdated but the rooms were clean, staff were friendly and the buffet breakfast was awesome!! Use the free bus to go to the Supermarket to stock up on water & drinks as the bar is a bit pricey but it didn't stop us loving every minute!

“Cheap and Cheerful”

Well worth the little money we paid. We were very happy with the views from our front balcony. I can imagine that in season this will be a bit of a holiday camp, its sort of stuck in a 60s timewarp. About 3km from town on an easy drive south. Close to Rio Formosa with its colonies of Flamingos -a few kms the North side of town. Good meals at the Poussada which can be afforded with the saving from the cost of the accommodation.

“Would use again”

The room although dated was very spacious and clean.We had the half board option and we were not disappoited, the food was excellent. and great value .This is a hotel we shall use again .
