“superb hotel”

We stayed in a resort suite for 12 nights in august and had a fantastic time. Although this is a large hotel it doesnt feel anonymous or crowded, even in the summer holidays. We found the suite was ideal, with all the convenience of a large hotel, but the advantages of providing your own meals. we had a kitchen, bathroom, entry hall, seating area with 2 sofas and an armchair and massive bed with patio doors to a balcony. The gardens and views are excellent all round, the beach is pretty private with a few local visitors, but mostly used by hotel guests. there are lots of pools to sit around if you prefer and plenty of sun loungers, we never found it difficult to get one because they dont allow them to be reserved for more than 30 minutes with a towel. the staff are lovely and helpful, the spa has really nice facilities too with an indoor swimming pool. Like all 5* hotels, food on site isnt cheap but there are plenty of places to eat in Sta. Eulalia which is about 10 mins walk from the hotel. We really enjoyed a Dutch retaurant called Carpe Diem (skewer meal for 2 €16). The on site buffet retaurant is lovely but expensive. Its nice to stay away from the main tourist areas in Albufeira itself, howver you are well connected by buses, taxis and free hotel minibus to the old town if you want to spend time there. We took a really good boat tour from the marina for 3 hours along the coast, great value at €24each. We will definately be going back!

visited the hotel 4 times now and not been let down once. Given the choice I prefer to go before it gets a little too busy in august best time of year I've found is Easter if you like some peace and quiet.

This is a very special hotel. It's location is perfect - close enough to Albufeira to take a taxi in for a night out but also being a resort hotel it has all the facilities you need without having to go into Albufeira. The hotel is immaculate. We couldn't fault it on anything. The room was vey spacious with a lovely large balcony, the pool area is superb, the food was excellent and the quality of service was unbeatable. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Overall, this hotel is perfect for a relaxing and luxurious holiday.

“excellent hotel and facilities”

would recommend this hotel to anyone, excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff. I actually proposed to my then girlfriend and now fiancee on our balcony, looking at the wonderful sea view with complimentary birthday cake and chilled champers. The spa were facilities were good, the pool area were always spotless, the restaurant was excellent if a little pricey but overall very impressed. Good mix of all ages in the hotel and functions going on all the time but that just added to the vibe of the hotel. Only a walk to Albufeira (which has the mad for it strip and the chilled out old town) and a cab journey to Villamora. Both excellent for nights out.

“Great Hotel”

December is not a great time to visit one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. However apart from a lack of a hot buffet at breakfast it was fantastic value for money and I will definitely visit again when the weather is warmer.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location, always a sea breeze & some great days of surf. Hotel feels brand new... all fittings in the suite rooms good quality. Little kitchen meant you could buy provisions from nearby mini market & make breakfast/ picnic lunch. Saved quite a bit as buffet breakfast & dinner very pricey. Free shuttle buses from hotel to Albufeira mean you can explore local shops, cafes/ bars.

facts: - taxi from airport costs EUR50-60 - taxi to old town costs EUR6-7 - sunbeds on beach a bit expensive. positives: + very helpful staff eager to please + clean private beach very close + clean & quiet rooms negatives: - beds are quite hard - decor in rooms is a bit tired - no cash point in or near hotel - dining is expensive (buffet dinner especially)

“Albufeira's superb hotel !”

This hotel is excellent ! It's huge ! Location is away from noise and traffic. Bedrooms are impecable, superb cleaness, fully furnished for self catering, nice balcony oevrlooking one of many swimming pools. Main pool and its bar are relaxing and well catered. Hotel free of charge bus shuttle to city center very convenient. Near beach less than 100m. Beautiful views! All staff very friendly! Will recommend to anyone !
