Ideales Hotel für die Erkundung der Algarve

Posted Jun 28, 2015

Nice hotel nice layout especially outside

Posted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Nice location, good outside pool area.
Cons: Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Some of the staff need customer service training.
Location: Nice location 2km from Carveiro town, with lots of lovely restaurants and shops, bars and a really nice beach.
Nice hotel most staff friendly good outside terraces around the pool. Needs to have tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast ok. Better bar food than restaurant food but lots of choices.

Nice hotel, close to the beach

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: The staff are very friendly, a good location
Cons: Refurbishment. Quite old, and old fashioned. No internet access.
Location: Close to the beaches, cafe's, restaurants. The walk to the center is also a nice walk.
Nice hotel, very kind staff. stayed for 3 nights. The room was very spacious, though quite old and the bath kept flooding. Other than that good location, close to the beach, cafes, restaurants.

Eine Renovierung würde gut tun...

Posted May 25, 2015

Brilliant Hotel for a relaxing break

Posted May 11, 2015
This hotel simply is what it says 'on the tin'. Situated on the top of the cliffs with stunning views of the sea. located within walking distance of the beach and a range of restaurants. We went B&B so we cannot comment on the Hotel's lunch and evening dinners, but breakfast was more than suitable. cooked, cereal, toast, fruit, all the usual items you'd expect really. The hotel also offers light meals for in the bar or around the pool which was very nice. we went out every night to eat and found a range of food venues all within walking distance and all different types of eating establishments. The Hotel offered entertainment on some evenings. these were either a small band or a guitarist etc. on the other nights people were still happily sitting in the hotel bar drinking and chatting to one another. the town of Carvoeiro is a fair walk away down the hill. it is certainly do-able for me and my expecting wife. up and down the hill. we were expecting to have to get a taxi on a few occasions but we didn't need to. however the hotel does also offer a shuttle bus to the town. we didn't use it as we were happy to walk. The Spa in the hotel was also very nice. we used it on the day we have some poor weather. would also recommend! As my wife is expecting we went to the Algarve for some pre-baby R'n'R. we wasn't looking for nightlife, and I don't suppose you'd find it here. although there are bars which have music and live sport coverage etc, its not a party place, more relaxing!
