“By the Sea”

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Location was good only 2 blocks from main square. Quiet in the evening and privacy at the roof pool.

“WONT GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL BUT LOVED PORTUGAL”

This hotel was the worst ever ! we arrived late on a wed night and the night desk clerk had been drinking. We got to the welcome to portugal talk, got our keys and headed up to OUR FIRST ROOM, which was occpied by and old woman smokeing in bed ( big suprise for me ) and second room was filthy. We finally excepted the 3rd room. Another big surprise is the phones are turned off to make local calls and the people at the desk do thier best to not make phone calls for you for bookings from tours or pretty much anything from the desk and the pool was constantly dirty.The biggest strike against this place was, i came back to the hotel late one night and the night desk clerck was watching porn on the computer the hotel supplies for guest. I know its a 3 star hotel but , there are some things you dont expect to get, like dirty rooms, drunk employes and watching porn while guest are floating around. i am not impressed at all
