“many better choices in Faro.”
a mistake. old hotel, without any appeal. it reminded me of the washed out casino hotels of Reno. there are better hotels with the same price in Faro, or better than that try to book a place in Port Mao or Lagos or Lagoa.
“Keep it under your hat”
If everyone knows how great this place is, it will be too popular. So I will say no more.
“Faro's Nicest Hotel”
This is a great little hotel right on the marina in the old town in Faro. Make sure you get a room overlooking the marina. Only 10 minutes to the airport, a 10 Euro cab ride. Very nice staff. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant for dinner but the buffet breakfast was good.
“OK place to stay”
The Hotel Eva is an OK place to stay in Faro, a town that does not seem to be overly endowed with well located hotels. The room was fine and the view from the small balcony over the tiny small boat harbor was pleasant, particularly with a glass of wine in hand as the sun went down. I would certainly stay there again.
“It is allways nice to be back”
Recently refurbished, modernised. Beautiful view of the Faro Marina and the Old Town. Worth paying little extra for the front room. Lovely to take early tea on the balcony. Very good brakfast buffet in the restaurant on the fifth floor with the view of the lagoon, the Praya de Faro and the sea.
“Perfect Hotel in Faro”
The hotel is within walking distance from the train station, easy to find and near the bus station which services the airport. It is very convenient to the old town, restaurants and shopping. We had a large, beautiful corner room overlooking the square and were able to pick up free wifi from our balcony. The bathroom was modern and clean and the hotel was very nice overall. The breakfast room upstairs is surrounded by windows with fabulous views of the water, and the buffet was delicious. Be sure to take one of the cruises through the canals out to the island with its wildlife and beautiful beach.
“Very Acceptable”
Only stayed 1 night. Fairly modern hotel on marina. We had great views out to sea. Breakfast buffet was good with stunning view from restaurant. THe hotel staff were very helpful. Very close to city centre and train and bus station.Room not huge but comfortable.
“Well located hotel, poorly executed”
Great location, very central with view of the sea. Eggs at breakfast were truly inedible. In room air-conditioning was inadequate. Hotel not easy to find, as roads into Faro are a maze. Foyer has had fabulous uplift - rest of hotel is much scruffier and not up to same standard.
