The room was cleaned, the front desk people lovely. However everything besides were difficult. Limited parking lot , the coffee machine baby cups with high price. I didn’t find a decent place to have breakfast or dinner near by. I suggest that this hotel should offer breakfast to the guests as it would get a better reviews.

I'm sorry that you didn't like our hotel or the restaurants in our city because you must be the first person who couldn't find a good restaurant near the hotel.You should have asked for information as reception had helped you.In our hotel there are only guests with breakfast including you who didn't even know what you had bought and then you say something bad.

Just what we needed
Stayed here for a festival so it was close by and we would get an Uber for 4 euros to the main bit. Everything was fine, only down side was a few staff members were very very unnecessarily rude (2 men in particular- ladies were all nice). Like I would ask a simple question and get so much attitude back and loud sighing like I am a massive burden. But apart from that it did the job! Rooms actually bigger than the pics and we got a big balcony which I wasn’t expecting

Lovely hotel, in the quieter part of Portimao but still very close to the old town and 30 min walk to Praia da Rocha. Room was clean and spacious, only thing missing was a fridge. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out was a breeze.

Nice for a night
Nice and simple hotel, has the basics needed for a stay. We only stayed one night. Has parking outside and a pool, but we didn't use the pool as only stayed briefly. No kettle in the room and A/C switches off if you open the room or balcony door. Need the A/C on to keep mosquitoes at bay! Hotel staff very friendly. Only a few irons in the hotel. Breakfast was ok, good choice of fruit and cakes.

Location not great - in the middle of a residential area. Very little nearby eg shops or restaurants. Not much atmosphere in hotel. Good bus service to beach every day

Obrigado but there are restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away. The best restaurants in town are in this areas. Not tourists restaurant.

Excellent staying. Very comfortable, as considered nowadays with the basics included telly and wifi. Breakfast excellent!! Location also not bad local stores with minimum walking distance. One of the receptionists was 5***** Obrigada Nuno

The people who clean the rooms didn’t clean properly in some days, didn’t have a mini bar to store cold food, one of the days inside of our room we found a cockroach ( the windows was closed). One of the staff who works at the reception was not polite. The signal of the internet was horrible. We can hear the people talking from the other room. I like the breakfast and the staff except one guy because he was not polite, the pool was nice.

Obrigado next time check discrition before booking we are a hotel and we dont say thst we have frigobar . And ne t time you should not make food in your room as are not apartment . Who prepare and make food in hotel room .

At the price an excellent basic hotel, spotlessly clean, good bathroom, well maintained by the maid, all staff helpful and efficient. Excellent breakfast, good choice of everything you could want, no 'full english' but breads, cheese, ham, yogurts, fruit very good coffee. Proper air conditioning that works. A complimentary bus to either the beach or marina. The outdoor pool is a short walk from the hotel, fully enclosed and residents only, plenty of sunbeds available.

It's a chilled hotel, lovely pool area, bus to take you to the beach, 15 minutes walk into the town centre. The hotel it's self is small, great breakfast, lovely people spotless and clean.

This is not a large hotel nor is it in a great location,but it is great at providing a relaxing atmosphere at a great price and is reasonably close to the beach via a hotel provided shuttle bus.

Wonderful hotel
This hotel is excellent,,this is the third time l have been here and l will be back again ,Alex on reception is very good and sorts out all your problems quickly ,He is friendly and approachable ,the rooms are kept spotless clean with daily cleans by friendly maids ,The breakfast has a wide choice of food on offer ,The area near the hotel has everything you might need ,having restaurants, snack bars and two large supermarket within 10 mins walk ,The pool is private and well maintained ,l found the wi fi excellent, also the hotel has a shuttle bus down to the beach which is lovely

Not the best...
Just stayed one night. Location okay and staff quite good...but...room very small and if you weigh over 9 stone forget trying to fit into the shower. Walls paper thin, heard everything from next door. Parking 18 euro (maybe better spent on accommodation). Basically you get what you pay for

Good Hotel
Hotel good ,staff nice and friendly maids nice and clean daily ,shopping centre about twenty mins walk away ,if you pick up the gravel path to the right of bridge and then turn right at the end you will see the shopping centre ,there is a bank in there as well as other shops ,but if you have mobility problems you have to climb up steps and down the other side when crossing the pink bridge over the main road ,There are restaurants and a take away just down the small hill ,also a small supermarket by the chemist ,The hotel is very clean and the breakfast has a good choice of food and drinks ,The hotel swimming pool is in its own grounds and you are given a key to get into it ,it's kept nice and has toilets in the grounds ,it also has a small sandwich bar at the side of the pool on the outside where you can get toasted sandwiches,drinks etc

Decent hotel for the price, but far from the beach
Really nice and helpful staff here but beware, the outdoor pool is like a block away. It is not on the hotel property. Rooms are pretty basic, not great or modern, but at least with a small TV and balcony.

Nice hotel. Not to far from town centre, twenty minute walk. Quiet area and only ten minutes walk from Lidl!

Mirachoro Sol Portimao
Excellent hotel even if rated a two star. Courtesy bus helps with the issue of access to Portimao and Praia de Rocha. Alexander could not do enough for us during our visit. Breakfast was great and room spotlessly clean. Pool area good with lots of sun beds and a pool that was very clean. Can recommend this hotel.

The staff were really helpful and kind and were just great, the hotel room could do with some more amenities like a kettle and a mini fridge to keep your water cool. Sheets were also sometimes a little dirty, apart from that it was really nice though !

Hotel Mirachoro Sol
Refused to provide soya milk and yoghurt for daughter allergic to dairy products and did not reply to my request to say that they couldn't provide these items. In addition to this there was one very rude man on reception desk and his manager was even ruder. All other staff were really nice and friendly. Did not appreciate someone else's balcony being directly below our bathroom window. Made it a bit awkward for showering and we couldn't have the bathroom window open. Otherwise the room was very nice. Had every amenity except for a fridge. Good location.
