Easy hotel close to the airportPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and could watch tv.
Cons: Their menu needs to be improved only thing that was nice was the toasted sandwich.
Location: The city is about 7 minutes by taxi. There is a mall in Faro.
Overall it was a good experience. Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. You need a car to get anywhere at the hotel isn't close to anything. Bed was really comfortable and tv had programmes that were english speaking which was really good and made the stay that more pleasant! Wouldn't recommend the food at all. Everything is microwaved... not what I expected at all from a hotel. Hotel was about 7 euros from the airport which was very helpful.

Good value for moneyPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: the pool and dining area
Cons: internet connection and room interior
Location: all good here
For the amount of money one has to pay for a room this place DOES exceed my expectations in every way.

For Excellent read SuperbPosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Staff, facilities, cleanliness and overall ambience.
Location: Location great for ease to get to airport.
Hotel was so welcoming and staff friendly especially the receptionist Ana who spoke perfect English and as I was travelling alone and don't speak any Portuguese for me was extremely welcoming. Room more than adequate bed was king size and sooooo comfortable and the pillows were amazing, just a pity I was only there for the one night. Everything went very smoothly in the morning reception phoned my taxi and I arrived at the airport relaxed and refreshed. Based on this experience I would not hesitate to stay in any Ibis hotel.

Near airportPosted Aug 19, 2013
Good hotel near airport for a night but wouldn't recommend for a longer stay. Nice pool for proper swim if not too full with families.

Good choice for a late flightPosted Aug 18, 2013
We stayed one night at this hotel after a late flight. Staff were pleasant and didn't bat an eyelid at two women booking a double room. The room was pleasant and clean and we spent a relaxed morning sitting on the terrace having breakfast before leaving to pick up our hire car. There is a pool and plenty of shade, and the breakfast was good value at £6. I would definitely stay here again. There is a bus to the airport or Faro town which passes the door, so very handy location or a taxi from the airport was under 10 euros.

Do not eat here,Posted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: Room comfortable and clean, great pool.
Cons: Food and service.
Location: Easy access to airport.
Room facilities and staff fine, but our meal experience was abysmal. On a sweltering afternoon we ordered tea and coffee.coffe fine but tea with milk was a mint teabag and hot milk in a mug......try it,awful. We invited guests to join us for a celebration meal and not only was the service bad,the waiters were too keen and untrained ,did not even seem to understand Portugese, let alone English or French and we did try that. We ordered 2 beef steak dishes, the most expensive on the menu, and it must have been microwaved as it was tough and dark, and both meals were served with potato crisps as the veg!!!other meals ordered were dish of the day....we have none at early dinner time, and a bacalhau dish which we have regularly when staying often in Portugal.....both again must have been microwaved and were of bad quality and small portions for the price. We have stayed here many times in the past and invited guests, and in the past the bistro style eatery was great,,but standards are not good now,so will not stay here again...hope other Ibis hotels are better!!!
