Spacious & Good locationPosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Group of 4 adults stayed for 10 nights. Quiet with mix of nationalities and ages. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff helpful when approached but unobtrusive. Only downside is the bar area which would benefit from a make-over and livening up a bit. Location good with Fat Cat's next door being used as a friendly local. Far enough away from the strip to be quiet but only 5 mins walk. Walk to old town approx 20 mins but with the heat we used a taxi service ordered by Reception - €5. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others wanting to stay in central Albufeira.

Weekend in AlbufeirasPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was close to attractions & easy to find. Good & inexpensive place to eat across the street. Laundry also across the street. Limited parking though.

cheap and cheerful,Posted Oct 8, 2012
Pros: large room
Cons: cleanliness poor, needs freshening up and updating
Location: about 16 mins to the strip and 25 mins to old town
cheap and cheerful, pool had tiles missing, rooms were a bit dirty, peeling paint and brown stains in the bathroom, shower was basically hand held with loose bracket on the wall, but at least we had hot water all week. cleaners turned up at 5pm to clean most nights, utensils basic. no sound proofing. poolside bar shut, Oct 1st - 7th Oct. Small TV but did have BBC 1, cbbc kids channel and channel 5, even though all the rooms had baclonies in Oct most of them didn't get any sun. if you want cheap accomadation because basically it's just somewhere to wash and sleep this hotel is okay. Old town better for food and lots of bars with live bands, the strip good for disco bars, Look for Pingo supermaket for cheap groceries , recommend Flavours for eve meal but Jo jo's not up to scratch. Fat cats just up from hotel worth a few nights out. all in all good times had in Albufeira, dont use resort Hoppa for transfers, long wait times

Needs a faceliftPosted Sep 17, 2012
Cons: Poorly maintained
Location: 10 mins walk to the strip; 15 mins walk to the beach; public transport needed to old town.
Could be a really nice hotel but room needs painting badly, TV so small almost impossible to watch; toliet leaked, room was not thoroughy cleaned when I arrived. Staff friendly, hotel well situated not too close to the Strip but within easy walking distance. 15 mins walk to the beach. Public transport needed to Old Town (frequent & cheap). Nice pool but small if hotel is busy. Sunbeds mostly broken and nowhere near enough if the hotel is full. Safe rental steep at 3 euros/day.

Good place to base yourselfPosted Oct 8, 2009
Went later September. The hotel was virtually deserted, although they did hold open the small bar every evening regardless. Plenty of space around the pool, although if the hotel is crowded there don't seem to be enough sun loungers. A good location - 15 mins walk to the beach with the old town slightly further, 10 mins to the Strip, 15 mins to the Bull Ring, 10 mins walk to the shopping centre and plenty of little restaurants close by. Quality of service was adequate. No frills and not particularly keen to do anything that required any effort on their part, but they didn't interfere either. Rooms were cleaned every day.

Great LocationPosted Aug 6, 2008
The apartments were located a short walk away from the "strip" and a short cab journey from old town. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were big and spacious, however only cleaned every other day. The kitchen was fully equiped and a good size, however this was not cleaned at all by the cleaning staff of the hotel. The beds and sofa beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Very ImpressedPosted May 15, 2008
I was really impressed with this accomodation, the rooms were very big and very clean, the cleaners came in almost everyday. The location is ideal to both the strip and the Old Town, we walked to both quite often. The pool area was great although one downside is the lack of sunbeds, very limited considering we went in May, not sure how they would cope in peak season.
