luxury hotel catering for your every needPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: The location -the views -the comfortable accommodation-the sea-the friendly staff- the leisure activities-the inviting cafes-the welcome little train
Cons: the pools were refreshing but a little bit warmer would have been welcome
Location: close to a beautiful sandy beach with a stunning backdrop of red cliffs and pine trees. Two small supermarkets across the road and little cafes
This hotel is situated within extensive grounds that are beautifully maintained including a golf course tennis courts golf driving range mini golf children's play areas numerous swimming pools and direct access to the beach via a lift if required. Whichever way you look you see beautiful views of gardens fountains pine trees and tempting eating areas by pools or gardens or sea. A truly relaxing place to stay and with a wonderful beach to walk along to reach neighbouring villages. Fantastic!

Great holiday for families with young children.Posted Nov 8, 2013
This is the third time that we have stayed at Pinecliffs, and it rarely disappoints. This time we were staying in one of the recently built apartments, and were very impressed with the quality of the fitments and the size of the apartment. We had hired a car so that we could be independent of the resort, but with young children this holiday really works for us as we enjoy the comfort and facilities of a hotel, but with the independence of a villa type holiday. We found the staff attentive to our needs, and our room was cleaned on time every day. There are always small niggles of course, but I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday to all families,as it has much to offer for both adults and children alike....and more importantly is not too "dumded down" for children like so many of its counterparts.Lunch at the beach restaurant, and watching the sunset from the cliff top bar are our favourite memories. My only note of caution is if you eat every lunch and dinner on the resort it can get expensive with sterling struggling against the euro, which is why we always book carhire,so that we can vary where we eat.

Excellent in every way.Posted Oct 6, 2013
Great place. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 your kids, 3 and 5 months old each. The place is new, spotless and the service is all too notch. I have stayed at a lot of very nice resorts and this is my favourite. Great for families.

Brilliant!Posted Oct 2, 2013
Fantastic for families, especially when eating in the restaurants (with the exception of the beach restaurant - children aren't catered for very well at dinner time).

It's all covered here.Posted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: Very safe and friendly. Large complex but manageable .Residential suites are ideal for families as include a decent kitchen as well as plenty of room.
Cons: We went the 2nd week of September and a few services were unavailable. Drinks are expensive ie Mojiitos were 21 euros each .
Location: Plenty on your doorstep either for self drive or taxi. Supermarket outside complex.
We went with young children and the set up was perfect.

Great hotel ... bring your walking shoesPosted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Facilities, service, food, pine trees that give a lot of shade
Location: There are lots of things to do in the resort (golf, tennis, spa, beach, pools etc). We didn't explore the local area much.
We stayed in a garden Residence in Block 1, close to the Golf Suites / Vacation Club pool. It was a little noisy because of the pool, but that wasnt a problem for us as we had 3 small children. The standard of the facilities is excellent and the food, especially at O Grill, Yakuza and the Beach Club is very good, though quite expensive. We also ate at a couple of local restaurants which were recommended these were cheaper, more basic but had excellent food. Fish seems to be excellent everywhere. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The only real negative is that the resort is fairly spread out so you have to walk quite long distances. This isnt a problem for adults, in fact its rather nice to have such a spacious resort to walk around, but with young children a visit to the beach can feel like setting of on an expedition.

beautiful place but expensivePosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
pine cliffs residence definitely has a wow factor but a couple of minor issues still for me need addressing.my family and i stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved the apartment which had 2 fantastic bedrooms and bathrooms and an amazing power shower and comfy beds.we were situated very close to the pool which was another plus however seeing that we were self catering we found the restaurants so so expensive so found ourselves eating out most days and evenings .that brings me to the next issue which is actually getting out of the complex which is around a 20 minute walk if you are staying in the apartments as you can only exit from the main gate which is so far away .there is a bus that runs around the complex but only once every 30 minutes.dont get me wrong though it is a beautiful place with lovely pools and its very child friendly and also has attentive staff .would stay again if drinks/restaurants were cheaper

Great family hotel, lots to do for all agesPosted Jul 25, 2013
Pros: The views and service
Cons: Prices in resort
We had a fantastic holiday staying in a three bedroom residence. Good size rooms 2 bedrooms with en-suits. Not forgetting the fabulous views of the golf course from our rooms. Great activities for the kids, our daughter, 9 yrs, had one to one tennis lessons, expensive but worth it. Our 2 boys, ages 5 and 3, really enjoyed the pool and not forgetting the mini golf! Unfortunately while we were on holiday the mini train which takes you from the residence to the main hotel was not working so we had a lot if walking at least 10 mins. The restaurants within the hotel were really good but very expensive so a few times we did go out of resort-at the entrance there were great reasonable priced restaurants and not forgetting the supermarket.

Wonderful resort but best to go "in season"Posted Oct 20, 2012
Beautiful resort, accommodation and staff superb. We travelled in October and were really disappointed that this was considered off season so a number of restaurants and facilities within the complex we were looking forward to going to we're closed.
