Fantastic HotelPosted Oct 18, 2013
The Hotel is fantastic, there was a wide range of food and desert and was so tasty. There is also a free bus to take you to the beach, everything to do with the Real Bellavista Hotel is Great.

Decent hotel for great price and friendly staffPosted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Price, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: A/C couldn't quite keep up in my room although I kept it running all the time and kept the curtain and doors closed.
Location: The view from the balcony was an empty lot and it was not really walking distance from beach & bar strip, but cabs are plentiful & fairly cheap.
My usual Albufeira hotel was booked, so tried this one. Great for the price; clean rooms, clean, well-lit lobby & dinning area. Good spread for breakfast. Nice pool, though a tad small. A/C in room was ok but still a little warm in the hottest part of the summer days. Plenty of free parking in shade in front of hotel. Staff was friendly and when I left an item in the room after checkout, they found it & sent it to me after a few calls & emails. A little far from the beach, but a quick cheap cab ride away (usually 4 Euro or so).

DisappointedPosted Aug 14, 2013
What you need to know about this so called 4* star hotel: if you like burgers, hot dogs or nuggets then on the food front your sorted because all the other food was so over cooked and had no taste what so ever it was often over cooked fish and pork. The other reviews are correct hard as nails bed it made your legs ache as their was no support as the base of the bed was wood so their was no give. The pool was breath taking cold not many people got in as you had to consistently move about so you didn't go numb. I do like a pool to be cold so its refreshing but not to the extent where you can barely dangle your legs in. overall I found this hotel very disappointing as I thought we had booked 4* but I would go with a 3 at most.

Good locationPosted Jul 28, 2013
Location: Just far enough away from the town, but close enough to walk
Clean comfortable hotel in a quiet location, just a few minutes from the town centre. Could do with tea & coffee making facilities in the room and a better range of bathroom accessories. Tried breakfast which was average and varied, but didnt eat anything else here. Good gym facilities, shame I only found out that the entry fee was included in my room rate on the last day of my stay !

Holidaying in Real Bellavista HotelPosted Jul 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Upon booking we requested a pool view which was given to us. The hotel staff were pleasant. The breakfast was lovely with a good variety. The only down points to the hotel would be its location and pool. It is located about 20 minutes walk from old town and new town. The pool is quiet small. Overall however we were very happy and enjoyed our week in this hotel.

Large comfortable room-shame about the food.Posted Jun 17, 2013
Location: Up the hill above the main carriageway and though fairly quiet the hotel pool is overlooked by flats. Not good.
Whilst our room was spacious and clean quiet and well maintained with a pool view and the rest of the hotel building was the same, the outside pool area was cramped with sunbeds so close together round the pool we felt on top of each other. When everyone was at the hotel hardly any beds were available. We found another area behind the hotel on grass but there were very few beds and lacked umbrellas. The food was repetitive and the soups all tasted the same, bland. All the food was tepid and I don't remember any hot food at all during the week whatever meal it was. There was a limited amount of fresh fruit and never a cheese board for those who don't eat sweets though the sweets were very boring and limited. The entertainment was held in the bar area which was limited to the few who could get a seat or stand up behind others. This area was too small for everyone to sit in for a show or dancing. (not good for those who needed to sit down). The magician was I am told very good if only we could have seen him. The hotel could make better use of other rooms for shows etc., The staff were very helpful and friendly and the bus down to the beach and back was great. Both my husband and I didn't feel this hotel deserved a four star rating for the food alone.

Nice quiet hotel. for the more mature person.Posted Jun 5, 2013
Pros: very clean, staff pleasant.
Cons: Food was always only warm and not enough variety
Location: Beach was not as close as stated
My husband and I visited this Hotel 18th May-23rd May. The Hotel itself was spotless. The Staff very pleasant and efficient. We went all inclusive. The food was not in our opinion that of a 4 star Hotel. Not once was the food hot, alway, just warm. Not much variety. The outside pool is very very cold and not very big. It is not as close to the beach, as implies. Usually go to the Algarve 3 or so times a year. Would not go to this Hotel again, mainly because I do not rate it as a 4 star. The room, although spotless, was nothing to rate it a 4star. One nice touch, was it was my birthday on 20th May and the Hotel sent a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, which was very nice of them.
