Very clean and tidy rooms, no toaster or oven though even though it's self-catering. Just a hob, microwave and ahem, kettle (which had to boiled on the hob). Pool was a touch cold although again well kept and clean. Was difficult to get a sunbed as most of the guests must have been insomniacs as on the one occasion I was awake early, all the beds had towels on them by 7am, even though there's big signs signs around saying no reserving of sunbeds. Nobody was bothered about enforcing it, they were more concerened with trying to stop you consuming your own food and drink around the pool even though it's a self-catering complex!! A few apts got broken into also, although apparently by no means of forced entry, mmmm..... Good location, about 10min walk from "The Strip" and 10min walk from a beach. All in all about a 6.5 or 7 out of 10, decent base.

Hotellet har ett perfekt läge, rummen är siså där, städningen bra, trädgård med pool helt ok. De allmänna utrymmen stora och bekvämma. Bra bilparkering, personalen i reception av varierande sort.

Our room was on the 2nd flr but as soon as we opened the door we were greeted by a horrible smell, we decided to open the doors to the balcony to let some air in while we went out to get something to eat, when we got back about 45mins later, there was no change & we called reception to report the smell. A staff mbr arrived & confirmed there was definitely a bad smell in the room, but as they were fully booked we couldnt change rooms. He suggested we keep the windows & door to the balcony open all night, & that he will report this to his manager in the morning. As we were already tired and it was quite late at night we settled for this but requested to be moved the next day. We were told there will be some vacant rooms the next day t/4 we will be moved then. The next day we were told by the Manager the hotel is full & we will have to stay in the smelly room for the rest of our stay! The handy man they sent up was unable to determine the cause of the smell & by the 2nd night we were given an almost empty bottle of Air freshener to make do with. As we were only staying 4 nights we thot it wasnt worth the hassle & accepted to live with the pung! Another problem we experienced was with the towels which are only changed once a week! On our way out on the 3rd day we left a dirty hand & bath towel on the bathroom floor to be picked up by the cleaners. You can imagine our shock when we came back to find the same dirty towels we left on the floor folded neatly with the other towels!

I was satisfied with the hotel but would appreciate if they can provide heater when it gets cold.

would definitely recommendPosted Oct 12, 2007
We had an excellent week in this hotel. It was comfortable in an excellent location just minutes walk from the beach, and 10 minutes walk from the strip with a shuttle train to albuferia old town. There was a beautiful pool, which, in October is easy to find space around! and the staff were always friendly and full of advice and information. The only downside was the mould in the bathroom, and infrequent changing of towels. Other than that the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Apart from the bathroom the hotel was maintained inside and out beautifully. Made the perfect base for a relaxing week of autumn sun!

Basic but goodPosted Sep 14, 2007
Hotel is a basic hotel, but clean, comfortable and value for money. Rooms are well designed and worked well for us, a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls, being able to have private rooms. The bathroom being off the entrance hall. It is located in a good spot, close to Santa Eulalia beach, which is easy to walk to. The beach itself is good and safe for swimming. The hotel is close to the strip, which is about a 10 minute walk. Albufeira old town is a short taxi ride, though difficult to get a taxi back late evening in peak times. We had considered other hotels but glad we chose this one. Pool, gardens and bar okay, normal problems with sun beds. Evening entertainment was a little poor and wouldn't rely on it though okay if you wanted a quiet night. I would recommend this hotel

excellent all roundPosted Jul 3, 2007
excellent location, 10 minute walk to beach. several restaurants very close by, supermarket 5 minute walk. The strip for bars etc is 20 minute walk. old town is 1 euro on the bus or 3euros in a taxi Staff very friendly and helpful when booking excursions. Dario the day barman is very friendly, we bumped into him in Paradise bar on the strip and he looked after us well. pool is busy during day , but why go to pool when santa eulalia beach is so close, we just relaxed by pool with a sangria at about 5pm.

OK, but don't expect the earthPosted Apr 20, 2007
The rooms were basic, but they were fine for what we needed them for. There is only limited cooking facilities, but as long as you don't want to cook 3 course meals you will be fine. We had 6 of us using one of our rooms to eat breakfast and lunch in - Food in restaurants is cheap and we ate in a different one everyday and didn't have a meal we wern't happy with that you probably won't need to cook much anyway. We didn't use the bar, so don't know about that, the video games room seemed OK. The pools were not heated, so at easter they were a bit too cold to use, even the small indoor one. There isn't heating in the room so if it is chilly at night you will feel it. There is plenty to do within an easy walk, supermarket, beaches, shops & restaurants all 5 minutes away. It did for us as a base.
