A great hotel, I'd definitely return.Posted Jul 27, 2015
When you hit the door, you're immediately hit by a really nice smell. The staff are very friendly & happy to speak Portugese with you even though 90% of them speak English. The pools were great & well maintained. The Beach Shuttle bus is really handy & accommodating. It can get loud at night (from children running the halls as much as from partyers on their balconies) but the staff support the 10pm noise curfew. The private balconies are great l, as is the pool.

Everything you require for a holiday in one place!Posted Jul 21, 2015
Really impressed with Vila Petra. Walking distance to the main strip and not far from Albufeira old town. Great selection of local restaurants with "O Leao" our personal favourite, only 200 metres from the hotel. Lovely apartment with balcony, kitchen and spacious living area. Good air conditioning. Lovely pool and good residents bar. Really friendly atmosphere. Additional bonus was the hotel supermarket which was handy for food and booze shopping. Everything you need under one roof. Highly recommended,

Vila Petra July 2015Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Large, air conditioned apartments with good storage Pools and leisure facilities in very good order
Cons: A charging policy for use of the table tennis table was a first and when you are with children it is something we tend to use frequently on holiday
Location: Quiet location off the main 'Strip'. Plenty of choice with good eateries and mixture of young and old entertainment available
Very clean hotel both inside and out. Staff very friendly and attentive, always provided assistance when needed. Never any issue getting sun loungers or umbrellas despite a busy period (additional were brought out), the hotel as others has a no reserving policy which on the whole was observed by the majority of those staying during our time but there's always the exception. Certainly no getting up at 7 to rush down to get a bed! Apartments well appointed with excellent air conditioning both in the main living space and bedroom Some early morning noise experienced from late returners but to be expected in holiday

Love hotel and very clean. The staff went out ofPosted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Having two pools one of which was indoors. The outside pool was large so one could do proper lengths.
Cons: The restaurant. Only ate on the first night. The food was mediocre
Location: Night life was very good and so near by. Never seen so many bars and restaurants in a small area. The Hotel was nicely tucked away so was very quiet
The staff went out of their way to help one. The hotel was lovely. Liked being near so many bars and restaurants. Would certainly go again

Great hotel and staffPosted Jun 22, 2015
Excellent staff particularly Marco in reception who tended to all our needs and made the holiday truly enjoyable. Breakfast was good but the mini supermarket in the hotel worked out cheaper, maids were very good and cleanliness great. Room size was quite large with a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful pool view from the balcony. Next to the strip and near the beach with a free shuttle service so lots to do in the area. Only fault is the wifi signal not being very strong from the third floor however staff would reset this when needed and this was not a very big problem. Both indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzi were great, only problem was the outdoor pool slightly cold and a swim cap was needed for the indoor pool. Overall an excellent hotel with friendly staff. Would definitely reccommend/stay in again.

Lovely little hotelPosted Jun 19, 2015
Lovely stay at Vila Petra. Clean room. Big pool. Nice staff. Close to the strip and only a €6 taxi to the old town - well worth a visit! Would recommend to anyone!

Lovely hotel with great locationPosted Jun 7, 2015
Great location near the strip. Near many decent and affordable bars and restaurants. The room was clean and tidy. We couldn't book a room with a double bed, which was disappointing but we just pushed two singles together. (In fairness they may offer double rooms but we just missed out). It was a shame that we had to pay to use the safe, which had a key as it was one more thing to look after by the pool etc but that was only a small gripe. The pool, market and other facilities were fantastic. The staff were very good and added a personal touch to all they did. Many even remembered our faces and what our room number was etc. As a note on the restaurant, the food was wonderful (the best we had anywhere in albufeire) and also affordable. On the whole, my wife and I were extremely impressed

Nice hotel but bad location for couplesPosted Jun 3, 2015
It was a lovely hotel but we would have preferred to be closer to the old town part of albufeira however that was a 40 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel is a good location if you want to go partying down the strip however we didn't.
