“Great Hotel”

Good hotel. A/C didn't work that great but it was suffice. Location was awesome and the staff was quite helpful. I would stay there again.

“Cute little hotel”

A very nice three star hotel. The single rooms are a bit small, but the hotel is well maintained, the bathrooms are decent sized and spotless, and the common facilities, including local artwork on the walls, very very pleasant. The hotel staff is very attentive, and the restaurant is actually very good. There is also free parking on a dirt road adjacent to the hotel, a big plus in this crowded little town. The hotel is at the bottom of the hill, across the street from the beach, so be prepared to climb up the hill if you want to explore the old city and castle. All in all, an outstanding place to stay in this enchanting little town.

“It was ok”

Besides the altercation at checkin, I was dissapointed when I was informed that I could not make use of the carpark after Monday (2 days after my arrival) because they were going to do some work on it. The work turned out to be digging up the carpark, with work starting at 7:50 every morning and continued intermittently throughout the day not very pleasant at all to be woken up so early by a digger

“Hotel Riviera - Castelsardo”

Hotel was of a high standard. Rooms cleaned everyday. Deckchairs and parasols were free. Breakfast good value; included coffee,juice, croissants, buns, biscuits, toast,biscuits, yogurts.

“Excellent affordable convenient small hotel”

We stayed here for a week in mid July. Hotel is very pleasant, full of attractive Sardinian art, good bar pleasant restaurant both with verandas overlooking the beach/bay. Rooms very simply furnished but importantly air conditioned - it was very hot whilst we were there. Staff are very helpful although only some spoke good English (generally Sardinia is good for improving your Italian!) Most of all for what is essentially quite a pricey island it was an afforable option 15 metres from a small beach (that was never crowded) in a lovely little seaside town (Castelsardo).

“Mixed feelings”

My first impressions of the hotel were that it had seen better days and looked a bit tired. We occupied a room with a balcony on the front of the hotel looking out to the sea and castle, all very nice. The only drawback of being of that side of the building was the level of noise coming from the road below however it is something you become accustomed to after a while. Unfortunately during our stay we also became aware of tiny flecks of plaster work falling down onto the balcony (daily) which prevented us from enjoying the full benefits of sitting on the balcony with any food or drink. To end this review on a positive note, the cleaning standards at the Hotel Riveria are very high and the bathroom facilties were spotless. We also found the hotel staff were friendly/helpful so overall we did enjoy our stay there.

“Cam”

Location not special. Better to go up or down the coast for good beaches.
