It was everything I imagined if not more! I felt like I was in a fairy tale. The staff, food, surroundings, and people were just fantastic. We loved our experience so much we can't wait to get back there. We don't have any complaints at all. Dankeschön!

Lovely corner room with great view-off season so hotel was pretty quiet. everybody was so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure we were always well taken care of. the best breakfast i have had in Italy and dinner at the restaurant is SO delicious. A bit more expensive than in town restaurants but well worth it. Cant comment on the spa as we did not use the facilites. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Alghero!

Beautiful hotel with stunning grounds, with service and class you'd expect from a 5* hotel.

Relaxing off-season weekend

We had a nice 3-night stay at Villa Las Tronas in late November. Arriving on a Thursday, we thought we were perhaps the only guests in the hotel it was so quiet, but filled up a bit more on Friday and Saturday night. The facility is beautiful and the location great. The bed was not the most comfortable ever. The spa facility (where the fitness room and indoor pool are located) is a separate building requiring a walk outside and had only limited hours. There isn't much of a locker room so it took some planning to go use the pool. Breakfast was great but dinner just so-so, we had much better meals in Alghero. In general the tourist-ish towns in Northwestern Sardinia felt a bit like ghost towns at this time of year but we didn't mind that one bit. Still lovely views to enjoy and places to explore.
