Charming Hotel in beautiful town

Posted May 11, 2014
Pros: Rooms, environment, staff
Cons: Breakfast
I say, just go there and stay couple of days. Hotel has everthing you'll need. Wide enough room with balcony, large, confortable bed, free parking place.

Okay for the price

Given there was no reception when I arrived , the house maid did a reasonably good job booking me I in eventually - even though she could not speak or understand English and I not Spanish. Plenty of parking and a nice 20 minute walk into the main town . Okay but don,t expect to much and you won't be disappointed .

Ideal stop over.

Pros: Location
Lovely hotel in a great location. Stunning views from the balcony of the mountains. Very friendly staff. Only downside was that they didn't do an evening meal. Not the end of the world as Alhuriun is only 2 minutes away. Highly recommended.

stunning appearance but deceptive

Posted Jan 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
the hotel looked beautiful and during the summer may be a much more desireable place. We travelled as parents and one child. Our room was far too small fo the additional bed, they only put out one towel initially and the hot water ran out after one shower. There were a number of children staying at the hotel over the holiday break and they made a disproportionate amount of noise, running up and down the corridors.

Great Views and Relaxing Environment

Posted Aug 28, 2011 on Hotels.com
El Mirador is a fabulous place to stay if you like to relax by the pool or enjoy fine food and great hospitality. Nestled in the foothills of the Andalucia mountains near Malaga, you will find this hotel to have a unique Morroccan dining experience. Great panoramic views from the balconies and the terraces. Friendly staff and excellent service made the stay memorable. Not convenient to the beaches, but the amenities combined with the tranquility made it all worthwhile.

Beautiful moorish style hotel, comfortable except for weak air conditioning. Views of surrounding area are great. Good value for the price.

Pool under construction

Posted Jul 23, 2010 on Hotels.com
Location: Ronda
The pool was under construction and we could not use the pool during our stay; considering the hotel is located in-land this was one of the most important reasons we chose this hotel, the management was apologetic but no real compensation was forthcoming. The fact that the pool was under construction was not communicated upon checkin, we had to find out ourselves, by being re-directed by construction workers.
