Everything good except the bath/shower. To get in and out of the bath to have a shower was far too dangerous and difficult for a person in their 70s. This needs an urgent redesign. Less important -was enormous chairs taking up too much space in small bedroom. But overall we loved this hotel.

During our 2 weeks in Spain, we stayed in Madrid, Alicante, and Valencia. Alicante was our favorite. Both the hotel and the city was our first choice.

This is a very nice hotel in the heart of Alicante’s “old town” the staff is welcoming, professional, and helpful. Our room was nice and comfortable, but had a couple quirks. It was up a winding stairway, with a shower whose temp regulator had a mind of its own, and where the frosted glass door to the toilet was hard to close. But these are really not-picky details that do not diminish the overall quality of the place. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was very convenient and walkable to shops, dining, sightseeing and the beach. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. The one issue I had with the room was when you are wearing the hotel slippers the bathroom floor can be very slippery so you have to be careful. The buffet breakfast has many offerings and was very good. I was very comfortable here and felt safe. We were not prepared to be told when we arrived that the hotel parking was full which at first was inconvenient but the staff quickly directed us to a public parking garage that was a quick 5 minutes walk and half the cost so in the end it was better for us.

Very nice hotel good location. The staff was very nice. If I were them I would fix the SPA on the top floor. If they just put a little more effort in that this hotel would be so great

The Hospes Amerigo offers an oasis in the middle of the city. It is very clean, the breakfast buffet food and staff were top notch. We had a couples massage in the spa and the ladies were awesome. All the sites, museum, restaurants, stores and the beach were at a walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel for any visit to Alicante.

We’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and we really enjoy the location and the quality the hotel offers. Unfortunately on this particular stay there were a few issues, which were minor due to refurbishment. One particular receptionist being rude but reported this and I feel it will be dealt with immediately However this will not stop us returning in the future

Had a great workation in Alicante! The hotel is well situated, beautiful in design, and the team is super attentive and friendly. Growth areas: wi-fi was spotty and the shower/bath wall is high and requires extra care to get in.
