1 week holiday for me & 3 year old son. Hotel is about €35 taxi from airport or €2.90 to Alicante by bus (25mins) plus another €1.45 to San Juan beach by tram (20mins) - tram stop is 2-3 min walk from hotel. You can take all 3 trams from centre – Benidorm & El Campello both stop at this stop and Playa De La Coruna stops about 10 minutes away. Hotel right across from the San Juan beach which is the biggest & most beautiful beach I've ever seen. About 20 minute walk to the closest shop and most of the restaurants/bars. Hotel staff were all very friendly & helpful. Hotel restaurant is very expensive so we didn’t have dinner but we had buffet breakfast there once and it was very good. Pool was kept very clean although the kid’s pool was up to my shoulders so it is not designed for toddlers or very young kids. Room itself was okay, beds were made every day but I noticed due to a slight stain of a drink my son spilled that it was the same sheets for the entire week. Hotel is very good for those seeking a very quiet and peaceful getaway to unwind (which is what we wanted) but for anyone seeking some banter/live entertainment/pubs/clubs/hustle and bustle of a city centre then this is not for you, you would be better to stay in Alicante centre or else if it needs to be San Juan somewhere towards the south end of the beach where there are some shops and amenities close by. SIDE NOTE - San Juan is a very Spanish speaking area with little English speaking.
