Really nice Hotel in good location close to sea. Short walk to promenade and town centre. Room was clean and comfortable with small balcony. Cleaning staff very friendly and didn`t mind cleaning the room when you are ready. I also liked the fact that I booked room only but could have breakfast any day without having to book. Just walk in the dining room and pay after at the desk. Very convenient as some days I preferred a late snack somewhere out instead. There was no other meal options but a few metres down the street bar "Mi Lola" served excellent food at reasonable prices. The hotel bar prices are reasonable also. I will stay there again.

Slightly out of the noise.e5 taxi to playa,and management will order it for you.Clean,nice breakfast,small pool across the road,monitors just down the street.Well worth a visit.

This hotel was a base for property a search, the hotel staff even went the extra mile to open up for breakfast at 06:00 for the guests that had early flights.

Great hotel in a fabulous location. The room was a good size and had a fridge and safe. Balcony was a tad small but useable. The reception staff were extremely helpful. We would stay here again .

We loved our long weekend here. It's in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the marina and about 20 minutes walk to the bus station.

Hotel is quite central west of centre of town,spacious room,spotless ,the maid was very friendly ,got us two more blankets as was cold at night,in Spain remember the rooms are designed to keep you cool,so in the winter they’re freezing,the advice is put the air on on to heat in the afternoon so when you come in later the room is quite warm,I’d recommend the hotel to put bedside table with drawers or draw in as it’s only a table, nice receptionist telephoned the restaurant I thought I’d left my phone at ,and they had got it ,I’d recommend this hotel with con

A solid 3 star hotel in a not very pretty part of a not very attractive town. If your life has brought you to a point where you need to stay a night in Torrevieja then the Hotel Madrid will do the job.

The hotel is well positioned in the town providing easy reach to shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff are friendly a good selection of food for the buffet breakfast. Bar is open all day and very reasonably priced. The hotel has a car park at a cost of €8 per day which if you have a hire car is well worth it, with parking on the narrow streets extremely difficult

Booked as had balcony, balcony was 15mm deep with broken shutter. When complained told nothing they could do as full. Bar closed at 10pm. Shower leahed onto toilet floor. Beds very hard. Unused power socket did not work. Told at reception unsafe to leave car in street, the only crime noticed was by hotel itself

Great Hotel Great spot
Despite some average reviews we went to the Hotel and asked to look at the room. They were a bit taken aback but obliged. On opening the room door the smell was so fresh and clean and the room looked great. Not the most modern but perfect for the price. The bed was so comfortable the bathroom sparkling clean and modern. We had a fridge and a box tissues(something we have not had yet at any and more expensive Hotels we have stayed in while travelling in Spain) The girl at reception the evening we checked in was so friendly and helpful. We had a slight problem with some water dripping from the aircon but she quickly tried to sort it out and came instantly with mop and towels to clean up. You could not ask for better service. Previous reviews said breakfast was basic, well not when we were there. Everything you could want was available, fruit, cereals, juice, coffee, meats, cheese, beans, and lots pastries a very substantial breakfast. Some reviews said it was noisy but all was as quiet as a mouse when we were there. We were apprehensive as we have had some bad experiences while here in Spain but this little Hotel was great in every respect

Everything you need, but no luxury. Recommended!
Nice hotel, which had everything we needed. The shower flooded, but we did not complain, so I don't know if they would have fixed it. Close to a beach and the tourist area (walking distance). Nice, friendly staff and the breakfast was ok. No omelette though, which is what I usually look forward to (as I don't eat meat). There was also a little, nice pool area (across the road) and parking for 8e. We found our own free parking spaces though. The room was a bit small with a small balcony, but we didn't really need more space as such.

Great Hotel
Great traditional Spanish hotel very friendly service. Our room had been refurbished within the last couple of years , it was very clean, very small balcony but very comfortable. Our room had a small balcony which you could smoke on as there was an ashtray however smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms and I must say the rooms smelt lovely and fresh. The hotel does offer parking which you have to pay for but we found a parking space on the street relatively easily.

Generally a good valie stay in Torrevieja, its a reasonably well located hotel woth plenty of on street parking. Staff are pleasant, beds are comfy, rooms are clean. Bathroom was a but aged amd I noticed the floor wasn't as clean as it ought to be - maybe not sweapt or hoovered/possibly rushed. We planned to stay for one nightt but stayed for two as we changed our itinerary last minute, it was nice that we paid the same flat fee at short notice and weren't stung by scaling prices like some hotels have done in the past. We'd certainly stay here again, its brilliant value when you compre it to what you pay in the UK, just don't expect to be amazed either.

Very pleasant stay with very accommodating staff. The only extra we would have liked would be tea and coffee making facilities. We are making another trip to Torrevieja soon and plan to stay there again !
