“Fabulous hotel - definitely stay again”

Fabulous, quiet hotel. No complaints. Booked full board - I arrived 11pm and was given a welcome bag of food (rolls, meat, yoghurt, fruit, water) which was a nice surprise. Excellent choice of food in the restaurant (salads, cold meats, cheese, egg, plus hot selections and large selection of yummy puddings and fresh fruit) and the restaurant staff in particular were extremely friendly. Room, hotel and grounds were spotless. I stayed in March and the sun didn't get to the pool area until early afternoon, but sunbeds were available in the garden area which did get the sun slightly earlier. I stayed in Room 610 which had a big walk in shower and the balcony faced the pool area of the hotel opposite and part of the Riviera's grounds and got the sun on the balcony from lunchtime. Ambassador Hotel across the road allows Riviera guests to use their spa pool for 6 euros a session, which was lovely and relaxing. Live singer in the evenings from 8pm, in a small bar/lounge area. Would definitely stay at the Riviera again.
