“Great views, shabby rooms”

Good central location with excellent views but in an older building with very shabby rooms similar to back packers hotels.

Area recommendations

The Castle which can be reached by elevator from the across the beach promenade. 360 views of the area.

“NOT INMPRESSED”

VERY DITRY FLOOR AND ROOMS, FURNITURE IS VERY OLD AND BROKEN, YOU CANT WALK WITHOUT SLIPPERS BECAUSE EVERYWHERE IS DIRT. HOWEVER VERY NICE VIEW FROM MY ROOD - BIG TERRASE GOOD LOCATION. IN CASE THEY WILL RENOVATE ROODS I MIGHT VISIT THEM AGAIN

“pleasant hotel”

was pleased about convience of hotel close to shops etc...elevators were slow but rooms were clean...front desk staff should speak more English. very difficult to communicate.

“Perfect location and nice staff!”

This hotel was just as expected... perfect location and very nice staff. The week I was there, they were doing some minor touch-ups and repairs, but I never felt bothered. Would stay again in a heart beat!

Shopping

If you lose luggage and/or need some inexpensive things, go to the Centro Comercial Playa Mar 2 and look for the store Alcampo. It's like a huge Walmart or Target with good prices.

Outdoors or beach

Take the TRAM over to Playa San Juan if you have an afternoon to spend at the beach. The main beach in Alicante is too crowded, but Playa San Juan is great- open and lots of space.

“Nice Hotel, Great Location!”

The hotel is in a great location as it is very close to tourist sites and within a 5 minute walk from the beach. It was very convenient to take the bus from the airport as the bus stops very close to the hotel. Overall, it was a very nice hotel in a great location.

“Nice and central hotel (style 1990)”

Great hotel on Las Ramblas, the main street of Alicante with nightlife and short walking distance to everything the city has to offer including the marina. The hotel itself is just basic standard, but you have everthing you need, and not at least, a nice panorama view from most of the rooms.

Traveler's tip

The marina's discos are open until 6:15am, so you can have fun all night/morning long! :)
