“Great hotel, except non smoking, but still great.”
The hotel was great, I was told by expedia that this was a smoking room, but when I got there the whole building is non smoking, so the hotels customer service gave me a room at the end of the hallway so I could go outside to smoke. The room was spotless, they had a bar at the end of the hallway, and then in the morning they have breakfast in the hotel which was very nice and friendly. So the experience was very good. I will be back, and at the end of the hallway again!!
“I Am So Sorry”
I made a mistake during my previous review. I meant to check all 5's, but checked all 1's by mistake. Let me try again: A Night in Bethlehem I was in New York City from DC on business, and Friday was a travel day, so I stopped by Coney Island on the way home for the Nathan's Hot Dog and Cyclone roller coaster ride that everyone is required to experience at least once in his/her lifetime. It took over four hours to drive the first 75 miles back, so I decided that I would stay the night in Allentown and spend Saturday at Dorney Park riding roller coasters. I wound up spending the night in Bethlehem because there was no room in the inn. (Literally; Red Roof Inn, Days Inn, and Holiday Inn were all sold out.) The Marriot, however, had a last minute special, so I wound up staying there for only $10 more than the lowest priced (but sold out) motels. I found it rather amusing that I had the choice of turning left and staying in Bethlehem or turning right and going to Hellertown. The accomodations were first class, as was the staff. Far superior to the Hampton Inn I'd stayed in the previous two nights, even though I was well satisfied with the Hampton as well. The Marriot is typically a cut above the others, and this was no exception. This hotel is new, and it showed. I appreciated the (well stocked and well staffed) breakfast that was open an hour later than most, and the additional hour before checkout, as I had no desire to leave...
“Marriott Scores Again!”
What can I say...Marriott always seems to go the extra step! The entire staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms and lobby are tastefully decorated, the beds super-comfortable. The pool and hot-tub were great and kept open later than most. There is a great secure courtyard in the back with seating and a gazebo. Nice relaxing lounge off the lobby. Breakfast was great and at a really good price! Also, the hotel shares a shuttle bus with their sister facility located downtown. It'll take you to some nearby attractions. No complaints at all--not even constructive criticism!
“Best Hotel - Excellent all around!”
We were in town for a wedding and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for two nights. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was delicious. We had a wonderful stay and will be staying at Courtyard by Marriot on future trips.
“Great Experience”
We use this hotel as our base when we visit our daughter @ Lehigh in Bethlehem. Great Staff, great breakfasts and great location.. I wish Marriott would get rid of the small "baby" pillows.. but otherwise a great room.. Flatscreen and large bathroom..
“When I next travel to Bethlehem I would certainly want to stay here again.”
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to spend some time in the Bethlehem/allentown area. They should be more than pleased with all aspects of their stay.
“Very nice room; many dining choices nearby”
Courtyard by Marriott Bethlehem was a thoroughly satisfactory experience. The room was quite nice - we had a better TV in our room than we do at home - and the staff was attentive and friendly. Would not hesitate to return!
“Excellent hotel”
Everything was perfect
“Jim from Brunswick, NY liked it a lot.”
It is a nice, fairly new hotel. We liked the modern decor and found the room to be very clean and neat. It was an especially good value when considering the generous breakfast buffet. We will be back...
“The kind of bright star you want to see in Bethlehem!”
We arrived tired as most travelers do, but were instantly relaxed in our sparkling clean beautiful room with fluffy bedding. The hotel attendants were kind without being cheesy and fake! It was a very nice stay...
