“I Am So Sorry”
I made a mistake during my previous review. I meant to check all 5's, but checked all 1's by mistake. Let me try again:
A Night in Bethlehem
I was in New York City from DC on business, and Friday was a travel day, so I stopped by Coney Island on the way home for the Nathan's Hot Dog and Cyclone roller coaster ride that everyone is required to experience at least once in his/her lifetime. It took over four hours to drive the first 75 miles back, so I decided that I would stay the night in Allentown and spend Saturday at Dorney Park riding roller coasters. I wound up spending the night in Bethlehem because there was no room in the inn. (Literally; Red Roof Inn, Days Inn, and Holiday Inn were all sold out.) The Marriot, however, had a last minute special, so I wound up staying there for only $10 more than the lowest priced (but sold out) motels. I found it rather amusing that I had the choice of turning left and staying in Bethlehem or turning right and going to Hellertown. The accomodations were first class, as was the staff. Far superior to the Hampton Inn I'd stayed in the previous two nights, even though I was well satisfied with the Hampton as well. The Marriot is typically a cut above the others, and this was no exception. This hotel is new, and it showed. I appreciated the (well stocked and well staffed) breakfast that was open an hour later than most, and the additional hour before checkout, as I had no desire to leave...
