In a perfect locationPosted Apr 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff at this hotel was exceptional. The service at the 1741 Terrace and the bar area was above the norm. The food was delicious. When one of the waitresses did not like the condition of the drink glass from the bar, the bartender without hesitation or snide comment, threw out the drink and replaced it in a new glass. Make sure you can take the time to walk down the main street and visit the shops and local eateries. We will certainly stay here again.

Overall, I had a great experience. The primary issue was the air conditioning. I could not get the room cool enough, soon enough to drop off to sleep until early in the morning hours. (The hotel staff did bring a fan which helped greatly). I understand the problem is that the hotel is on a central system for all rooms and does not off individually controlled heating and air conditioning.

St. Paddy's Day Festivities in BethlehemPosted Apr 15, 2014
Pros: Everything! Charming, clean, convenient.
Location: Great town, nice scenery, fabulous restaurants and bars, quaint shops, casino close by.
Second time staying at Hotel Bethlehem. First, time for the Ghost Breakers weekend; this time for a quick get away. Lots of activities planned for St Patrick's Day. Great restaurants. Fun times! Will definitely go back! Would like to try Bethlehem at Christmas time!

Hotel is charming. Beautiful lobby. Rooms and bathrooms are small but nicely done. Staff is friendly and efficient. Nice restaurants and shops nearby. If you appreciate efforts to preserve a slice of the past, you'll love Hotel Bethlehem.

Had a terrific time. Lovely room, great bath, especially for an older guest. One request: firmer pillows!

Fabulous stay in Bethlehem!Posted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: The ambiance, the decor, and the lovely and helpful staff.
Cons: The air conditioning in the room, while it worked, was a low/medium/high fan setting. It took a while to get cool in the room. I'm just being picky.
Location: Main St. Bethlehem is quaint and charming with cute shops/boutiques to look in. Philadelphia is only an hour's drive and there is a casino near by.
The rooms are exquisite offering a classic old-world charm that is not often found. A sweet and pleasant aroma invites you in addition to a delightful greeting by staff. I am not in the Bethlehem area often but when I am I will only stay here.

Although it was only for an overnight stay it was a very pleasant stay. I would recommend staying here for any occasion. We will definitely come back.

Romantic Hotel BethlehemPosted Feb 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Spent our 20th anniversary at this hotel. Very romantic and convenient to everything. We reserved a room with a king size bed through hotels.com but had to settle for a queen. The manager said that's what happens when you book through a 3rd party and I should call the hotel direct next time. We did get complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our room which was nice. The only negative would be the overzealous maid who knocked on the door and when we didn't get to the door in time opened it (this was 2 hrs before check-out) and also asked us while we were in the hall if we were leaving yet? But overall this was a great hotel and would stay again.
