Father Son Getaway

Checkin was quick and easy. Location near Steeltown and restaurants great. Room was smoke free and no tell tale odors. Emerils Chop House was disappointing our sirloin was tough just a bad cut. Complmentary drinks were plentiful while playing table games. We had a great time even shopped at the outlet stores on site.

Nice getaway within easy driving distance

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Had a nice time. Bought too much corningware. Loved the nearby walking tour of defunct Bethlehem steel. Casino was packed which enabled them to keep the limits higher than I like. Though there were non-smoking areas, casino was very smoky and all our clothing ended up smelling of smoke. Emeril's chophouse very nice. Rooms were very nice and clean.

3 pm check-in? Not really...

Posted Jan 8, 2015
Should have been a nice stay in a relatively new hotel, but it wasn't. Check-in was the worst I have experienced at any hotel. Waited in line for 25 minutes only to be told that there were no clean rooms available. This was at 4pm. The agent that I dealt with seemed indignant when I mentioned I found the situation unacceptable. I was told that I would receive a call on my cell once a clean room became available. When I asked the agent if I would have to wait in line again when they called, she literally rolled her eyes and said "Yes, like everyone else". We finally got into the room at 5:15. Imagine my surprise to see a filthy bathroom floor (large sticky dirt spot on the tile in front of the toilet -- ick!). Carpet had not been vacuumed, and the " nonsmoking" room was reeking of smoke. The next day, we were out from 9am to 2 pm, but when we returned our room had yet to be cleaned. All in all, not worth the $159/night. I'll go with the Hilton Garden Inn next time...at least they know how to treat their guests.

My husband and I spent the night here. Everything about the room was great - clean, quiet, everything we needed was available. The check-in experience was the best I've ever had - quick, thorough and pleasant!

My stay was great. Clean room, comfortable bed.

Pros: Check in and out process was really quick.
Cons: For the smoking room, there wasn't anywhere for me to dump my ashes. The garbage cans did not have bags in them.
The room was clean as well as the entire facility. I will be coming back for sure.

The Sands Casio

Pros: nothing to talk about
Cons: lower the over night dollar amount
Location: theres nothing to do near by
I feel that the hotel is not worth the price you pay on a Sat. night but we went anyway but will never pay that price again, to high.
