Lovely Hotel - Until It's Full

We have just returned from the Playaluna after a lovely 10 day holiday (Jun 9-19). We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and the family room was large, clean and suited our needs perfectly. The service was very good at the bars and restaurants throughout our stay. Most of the staff speak English to some degree but if you can speak a little Spanish, it seems to be appreciated. The indoor pool was very nice but it closed on June 15th which was a shame as the outdoor pool was a little too cold for our 2 year old. The only down side of the hotel is that it gets very full at the weekends. When this happens, the bars and restaurants struggle to cope with demand and the hotel becomes very noisy. The restaurant is very large and when full, although the staff are clearly working very hard, they struggle to get food out quickly enough. As soon as something popular comes out (e.g. paella / prawns) it's like feeding time at the piranha tank. We stayed half board but tried to avoid eating dinner in the hotel at the weekend.

A good quality hotel with good buffet food. The indoor swimming pool a big plus in the winter
