Winter visitors can ski and snowboard on 60 km of slopes while those visiting during warmer months can hike and mountain bike on 350 km of trails. The 6,800-hectare Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park contains part of Europe's largest high-altitude alpine pasture. At the park's center stands Sciliar Mountain with 2 distinct horn-like peaks, once thought to be a meeting place for witches.
