Great place to stay and eat

Posted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The meals were great.
Cons: Maybe room size
Location: Ski!
For us, it was the ideal place for the location and good meals at a reasonable price.

This hotel is amazing. We found it by chance - but it is located in the best spot in the whole of val D'siere. Quick walk from the hotel to the funicular which is the quickest way to the top of the mountain. Then you can ski from there to tignes or val carlet. Best place on the mountain for après ski is la foley douche and it closes at five so you can ski home after close. Perfect. Hotel staff were lovely and hotel is great. Restaurant and bar is great. They have a €25 set menu which is changed every day and delicious. The free bus into the main part of val D'siere come every 5 mins from just out the front Very happy with this hotel.

Superb Val d'Isere hotel

Posted Feb 4, 2013
Pros: decor, location and staff
Cons: room got very hot at about 0400!
Excellent refurbishment matched by very helpful and welcoming staff Funky decor The proximity to the ski lifts is also a major plus and the navette makes getting into town very easy and quick The quality of the restaurant food was both excellent and reasonably priced (for val d'isere) Breakfast was probably the weakest meal with overcooked scrambled egg
