Had all the amenities.

Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: The restaurant was very good. The people were very personal and helpful.
Cons: Compared to other hotels that we stayed on our trip we found the rooms were slightly smaller for 4 people.
Location: The Snake river was an everyday discussion on how beautiful and clean it was.
The Flying Saddle hotel is a great experience. It has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. We went swimming, played tennis, and enjoyed the local community.

Location: Location too far from Jackson.
The hotel was fine. I was mislead in believing that the hotel was close to Jackson. The ride was way too far. I was very unhappy about that.

Pros: Booked this hotel without realizing it was 30 miles out of Jackson which proved to be a benefit for us as it got us away from the busy Jackson area
We stayed in the older section (there is a newer building in the back of the property). Room was clean and comfortable. No frig or microwave. Lobby warm and inviting with nice gift shop and Liquor store. Formal Dining room with great menu or you can eat in the Bar/Lounge also with great food. Pool and Sauna indoors and very well maintained. Friendly and accommodating staff. Grounds lovely with flowers and waterfalls. Great scenery. Would book again.

Long drive

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Restaurant was good. The grounds were very well kept.
Location: Not much around the hotel.
Hotel was clean. Rooms were fine. Not sure why it was called a resort. It was a long drive from Jackson, even though it was listed under the Jackson hotels. Felt the room rate was high.

Yellowstone and Grand Teton family trip

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Well, to start I wish I would have noticed this hotel is 35 miles below Jackson Hole. We didn't eat at the restaurant since just a simple dinner of pasta is almost $20. Way to pricey for us sorry to say. We do recommend the Yankees Doodles Cafe right down the road. Great food and a much better price for a family on a budget. The pool was nice. The bathroom shower left a Lot to be desired. The drain was broken and just sitting on side of tub. The shower head didn't work well at all, it was hard to take a shower. Only 1 washing machine and it was in use when we was there. Plus for $150 plus dollar's a night it had no Free breakfast either. Stayed at a hotel on way there paid half the cost had fridge and microwave, plus free breakfast. Don't think we will ever stay again, but it was an ok hotel.

Nice Property.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Key access to rooms. Needed to return to front desk to replace defective room access card.
Checked in late and out early for a one night stay. Only looking for a clean comfortable room for a good night's sleep and a hot morning shower. The Flying Saddle supplied both.
