Excellent staff and hard to beat setting!

Stayed here for a wedding and was very impressed by the staff (we were running behind and they checked us in in 2 minutes flat and made sure we had transportation to the wedding venue) as well as the setting for this beautiful inn. Will definitely return to spend more time on the grounds and check out the restaurant

Perfect Wedding Venue

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The classic rooms and great service
Cons: The lunch menu is a bit expensive
Location: The Millcroft is only 30 minutes from Brampton but it's a great place to get away from it all
We attended a close friend's wedding at the Millcroft Inn. The ceremony was outside in the garden and the reception was held in the basement room along the waterfall. The food was excellent and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room overlooked the lake with a king bed and antique desk. This is a great hotel for a weekend break.

Short Stay

Pros: Staff. Amazing.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was excellent. I can honestly say the young man on the front desk and the lady who helped me were fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel based on my first but certainly now not my last visit.

Nice Setting

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Nice rooms but had to change due to elevator noise, otherwise clean and comfortable in the Inn. Excellent meal - being in the pod was perfect! Pricey place, too many add ons and we had to scrutinize the bill to avoid being overcharged. Staff were gracious in sorting things out. May have been a mix up @ on-line booking.

Anniversary

Pros: Great location. Nice ride for you bikers.
Cons: Breakfast staff.
Location: Forks of the credit.
Dinner was excellent, dinning staff was great! Breakfast staff needs improvements. I was served a overstuffed western omelette that was burnt. Given with an apology so the server new that he should not even think of serving it! Then he asked if I would reuse my cranberry glass for my grapefruit juice. I guess water and soap are rare. $45 for breakfast that clearly was not up to par. Other than breakfast, this is a great place to stay.

Excellent Stay

Check in was a breeze. Front counter staff were very friendly. Our room was a bit small but that didn't matter to us. It was very clean and we had a great view from our room. The room was soundproof as we didn't hear anyone else. The turndown service at night was a nice surprise! We ate in the restaurant which was expensive but worth it. The breakfast buffet the next day was an additional fee but very filling and lots of options. We did some of the hiking trails around the hotel. Also they offer free bike rentals. We will stay here again.

Great little place to experience. Very quaint and expensive. But dinner was amazing.
