Location is great. you are right at the altona stop, with easy access to the S, U, and ICE. You are minutes from the Rathaus/Centrum. The service is helpful. A little mishap with double booking, and the keys going blank, but the staff was very helpful. The staff recommended places to see, eat, and travel tips. The room was cozy, and well maintained.

This Hotel was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fantastic with all kinds of juice, meats, eggs, granola, yogurt, etc. It was great! The other reason we chose this Hotel was for the exercise facility which appeared to be good in the pictures and it was in person as well. The gym was more than sufficient to get a good workout with dumbells up to 20Kg each, a sauna, and huge shower and lounge are as well. The staff all spoke english very well, and the Wi-fi was very fast as well.
The only thing that was a little scary about this hotel was that their was quite a bit of grafitti outside the hotel on neighboring buildings, but the longer we were there the more we realized that it was nothing to worry about. We never felt scared walking around in that area.
The train station is 1 block away and there is a big Grocery Store even closer, along with a couple little restaurants including a pizzeria.
The walk into the city center is only an hour and provides plenty of things to see along the walk.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of you looking for a great hotel at an affordable price.
Oh, and one last thing that I really liked about this hotel was the fact that there was not a million rooms. I think there were 4 or 5 floors total, and each floor had probably 10-12 rooms.

We wanted a night in a hotel with not far to walk to the Reeper Bahn and fish market. This was the ideal place for us. The room or should I say apartment was excellent. Staff were lovely and it was spotlessly clean. A little bit more expensive than what we wanted to pay but once we got in there we could see why.

Attention business travelers, this hotel is a gem. The room is small but well designed. It has a small desk, a place for the suitcase, a clothing cabinet, safe, minibar, teakettle, and a trouser press that gets the creases back in. The bathroom is well done, nothing is missing. Parking spaces are in the backyard. I did not see all the hallways in the hotel. But I dare to assume that all of them are as nice as the one on my floor. The doors are finished with a wood veneer that is coated with a layer of shiny polyeurethane. It looks gorgeous. The TV is mounted on the wall at the foot end of the bed. The light can be switched off while actually being in bed. Free WiFi is included and it works flawlessly. The breakfast buffet is very good. There is an elevator too.
The only thing I wish I had in the room are two more power outlets located directly on or at the desk, one for the laptop and one for a phone to charge. There are wall outlets in the room but when you want to charge your phone, you have to put it on the floor. When you plug in your laptop, the cable becomes a trip hazard. So please, hotel management, add two power outlets to the desk. Doesn't cost much but makes a whole lot of sense.

Hotel is less than 5 min away from Altona station, nearby which is a decent shopping mall (Mercado) and many other shops.
Hotel itself was very basic, with warm and comfortable room, with minimum facility (shower gel/hand soap, towels). Shower was small but not excessively.
My room had fridge and bottle opener, which made me smile as I haven't seen those in any hotels in recent stay.
Breakfast was included and wasn't luxurious but more than enough, with bread, cereals, cold cuts, juice, tea and coffee.
The only downside is that hotel has front steps and no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage you need to drag it up. Oh, and the room door is not auto-lock, so you need to lock it when leaving.
Overall pleasant stay, and would go back there again.

We booked 2 rooms of 5 and had an enjoyable stay here. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and seemed pleased to deal with us based on the fact that we were polite and not acting too 'stag like' when in the reception areas. Excellent location only 2 stops on the S-bahn (metro) from the Reeperbahn and also close to the football stadium. Rooms were very clean and spacious, facilities were good, price per head was excellent, cheap drinks happy hour in the bar, would definitely recommend overall!

The city's second centre, trendy Altona has a vibrant café and nightlife scene, particularly in neighbouring Ottensen. Old buildings in various states of renovation cram the narrow streets, often with bars in the basements. Near the train station is the Altona Museum and City Hall, while old fishing warehouses line the banks of the Elbe. The famous Fischmarkt takes place every Sunday morning.
