I always like Prairie Meadows. It's always a great atmosphere. I also like the security there, which is very important when I have to travel alone.

Quick Getaway
It was a good stay for a couple's quick getaway for one night. Clean rooms with good front desk service. It was a good experience for our first time staying there and we plan to be back for future stays.

I appreciate that the gentlemen at the front desk told me he would give me a late checkout since I didn’t check in until 1 am and they weren’t fully booked for the next night. Appreciate that offer without asking for it.

Great Stay!
Beautiful grounds-exceptionally clean. Hotel is super nice-lots of good food choices and good food. Really up to date amenities. Really enjoyed our stay! will definitely stay again.

Great trip for quick outing from KC. Will return.
Facilities (casino, hotel and race track) were all nicer than we anticipated. Check in staff and cleaning crew (in hallway) were all friendly. Appreciate that we were able to check in at 2 instead of 4.

Great location, Great staff, Very clean
Great location. It was nice to be connected to the casino and horse track. Great location for restaurants and things to do. The pool was small, but it was never crowded. Hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel and rooms were very clean. A bit more expensive than other hotels in the area, but I'd say it was worth it. Nice restaurant choices inside the hotel/casino as well.

Was told if we applied for a players club card we would get a hotel discount. Had to get the card from a Kiosk as no one was at customer service. When checking out the lady at desk was very rude and said we needed to print out the coupon with in 24 hours of getting g card. There was no note of this from Kiosk and was never informed of it until checkout.

Make sure you talk to supervisor!
If you have any changes to your reservations make sure you talk to the supervisor and not just front desk personnel if you call ahead to make changes. Not all employees know the hotel policy so you might not be able to check in when you arrive. It was really inconvenient when I had called ahead to make changes to my reservations to update the check in person and was told there was no issues. I arrived the next day to being told I couldn’t check in because the person I updated for checkin was not on my 3rd party registration and their hotel policy was not to allow it. I told the front desk person that I had already called the day before and was not told this hotel policy. The person asked me who I talked to. I don’t remember who I talked to, I called the hotel directly and talked to who ever was working that day before to answer calls. Then they sent me over to a supervisor who just told me their hotel policy which would not have been a problem is they told me when I had called the day before my check in. It was a big inconvenience that could have not been an issue if I was told the day before. It would be nice if all employees were aware of the hotel policy and not just the supervisor since the supervisor is not answering calls.

Very disappointed
For one thing we did not request a Handy Cap room. One other time we stayed and did request a Handy Cap room so the motel must of thought that we still did. Not the case. We check if our room was ready at 1:00 and it was not so we came back at 3:00 and Our room was not ready. We came back at 4:30 and it still was not. Very disappointed in your motel.
