“Fantastic modern hotel! Perfect for beach / hotel”

Eurotel Altura is a dantastic hotel! Although the outside looks a little weather beaten, inside the hotel is immaculate! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a reasonably priced mini bar and fantastic views over the sea. The restaurant serves amazing food and the price is reasonable. The staff t Eurotel are first rate, all speaking excellent English, being friendly and helpful. The location is stunning with access to a beautiful beach spreading as far as the eye can see! My only comment is that Altura is a quiet place' with only a few restaurants and no real bars apart from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and bars further down the beach which are about 20-40 minutes walk along the beach. However if you are looking for a quiet beach / hotel holiday Eurotel Altura is perfect!

Stayed in August with my 2 grandchildren, 12 & 6. They had a great time. Hotel staff are great, rooms are very clean, food is very acceptable and plenty of it and the beach is fabulous. We were entertained by a magician who should definitely go pro. My grandson was very impressed! I will definitely return.

The hotel has all the facilities one would expect and its location is superb with all rooms having a sea view. The only criticism is that the breakfast, although adequate, could be better

“Eurotel Altura Beach and Golf Hotel - Algarve Portugal”

This hotel is probably the best in the city, which is very small but really nice. The hotel is clean, food is OK, not really good, but there is plenty of very good and cheap restaurants at walking distance, BUT... for a Beach Resort, they should provide pool/beach towels and pool/beach food service. If you live in Portugal/Spain and is traveling by car you can take beach/pool towels from home. If you are, like us is traveling by plane, is quiet difficult and you also don't want to spend 20 euros buying one cheap towel for a couple of days. And you will need to pay 16 euros/day to use the beach chair and umbrella the hotel provide, or seat on the very hot sand ( without a towel)....

Quiet location, mainly filled with mature guests. Hotel breakfast not very good. Not a good place to to visit for non smokers, people smoke in most areas of the hotel as well as in nearby restaurants throughout meals.
