“A good stop”
The room was very clean and comfortable. Both evening and morning desk clerks were very helpful and pleasant. The continental breakfast had a nice variety and fit well. This was my first stay at this particular Super 8 and I will come back for sure. It outshined the other Super 8s I've stayed at.
“We Stayed Twice!”
Super 8 Alturas is a great hotel to stay at. We stayed once at the beginning of our trip, and found it so much to our liking, we stayed on the way back as well. Rates are reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful, and rooms are clean. Hotel is on the main road through town, and we felt very safe here. I would stay again.
“Will lodge there, again.”
Second story room. Room was quite clean including rug. Good television. Only complaint is that shower control had been worked on and was so stiff that we were unable to take a shower. Front desk people were quite friendly. They made every effort to help us to determine back road conditions. Road 9 is not paved, Cindi Continental breakfast fix'ins were fresh and of excellent quality. The small dining area was very clean with adequate seating. Yes, I'd definitely return to this establishment!
“Golfing my way to Reno”
The counter service was very good. i had stayed here for two prior years as my friend and i golfed our way to Reno. my expectations may not be as high as the casino hotels i stay in Reno, but they met our needs well and we had service with a smile. the rooms are basic, but everything worked and the rooms were clean. the breakfast wasnt anything to brag about, but it was a nice morning filler. the rates were good and i will stay there again when i travel thru....
“Good Value”
Good value for the money; unlike many advertising "free wi-fi" encountered on this trip, their's actually had sufficient range to be functional. Convenient diner right across the street.
“Clean, neat, and good value.”
The Super 8 in Alturas, CA provides good value for money. The rooms are clean and well-apppointed. The bed was comfortable, and the room was a good size with a large window. This is not an upscale hotel, but we were glad to have stayed there.
“Tired in Alturas”
Very friendly and helpful staff but the a/c didn't work and the bed sagged.
