Not much else in Alturas, CA.Posted Oct 17, 2013
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, reasonable continental breakfast.
Cons: One of the main staff people was a little short and gruff. She may have just been tired, as we checked in late in the day, the next AM was better.
Location: A good Italian Restaurant just a few blocks away, also on main st.

Check in and out.Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: Breakfast and personnel!
Cons: Ask future guests, do you have any physical limitations?
Location: Have restaurants within walking distance, drug store, cinema, clothing, laundry, etc.,
Clean, fresh towels. Outstanding maid service. We were not required to enter the lobby to do chk in or out. Quiet! Only problem was the stairs, they put us on second floor, both physically handicapped.

Quick StopPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: the staff was helpful and made a couple of dinner recommendations.
Location: Just a quick stop for us coming from WA to NV
A nice clean quiet spot after a long day of driving. The continental breakfast was nothing special but very similar to other smaller motels.

ComfortablePosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have to say that I was a little nervous pulling in. It is not very attractive from the outside but it's location is ideal. Walking distance to Rite Aid and restaurants not to mention right off the highway. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the room. Very clean and roomy with microwave and fridge! We had two adults, one child, one baby in a pack n play, and two dogs and we felt like there was sufficient space. My favorite though was how comfortable the beds were. Normally at budget hotels the beds are miserable but we all slept great. Would definitely stay there again.

Gets the basics RightPosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong either. The room was clean, everything worked, there was an ice machine, the shower was good, and the bed was comfy. Especially appreciated was that the air conditioner was running and the room a comfortable temperature when I checked in (it was HOT outside). Breakfast was basic but adequate.

Old, Dated, not many options in Alturas CAPosted Jul 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was given a room across the street from the actual hotel, next to the vending machine and had a huge electrical box outside my window. The room was small like a closet and had 70s looking flooring, old stained carpet, hard bed. Plus side was- room had a fridge, microwave and the room had a view out to a field. Breakfast was basic, fruit, cereal, etc. They did have a waffle machine though. Not many options of places to stay in this town. Would stay here again, for a night and request an updated room in the main hotel area.
