“I miss my time at the hotel!!!”

It is an excellent hotel if you want to visit Crimea's most popular part called Great Yalta and at the same time stay close but not too close to tourist area, enjoy the sound and views of the sea, and pay a reasonable price. The neighbourhood is quiet and has all of the conveniences (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, tennis court, etc). The location of accommodation on the steep slope of the mountain going down to the sea gives the sense of freedom. Once again I liked everything!

“Great alternative to staying in Yalta”

If you are looking for a quiet place near Yalta, you couldn't do much better than Zelenyi Mis. The place appear to be a new construction with its own access to the Black Sea beach. The paths are well maintained and the area is well lit at night, but not so much to interfere with a view of the night sky. The staff is very helpful and some of them speak English very well.

“Nice location, but be aware”

Be aware that this hotel is extremely difficult to find, since the address does not come up on GPS systems and there are absolutely no signs, and it is located on a torn-up back road. We reserved an oceanfront suite several weeks in advance. When we arrived at 5pm there was lots of head scratching and phone calls, and we waited over 30 minutes to have them tell us they did not have our room, it had been rented to someone else. They tried to put the two of us in two separate and smaller rooms with absolutely no view when we were traveling as a couple, which is not acceptable. The bar/cafe area is way too small, it only has 4 tables, and enough chairs for only 3. I do not recommend staying here since they disregard your room requests. If you get forced into an inexpensive room, they are claustrophobic and dark.

“Worse than any hotel I've ever seen”

It seems that 4 rooms per 2 story building is typical for this property. The walls are made of a very thin material, so if there is rain or somebody is talking outside, everything can be heard very clearly. Bathroom has a small fan that is going outside, thus you can see/hear other people. Also, there is unknown pipe 5” in diameter that is going through the floor into the sewage under the toilet and brings back all the smell into the bathroom when the outtake fan is running. The small stall shower with everything falling apart and mold in the corners. Everything is setup in a way to provide the minimal service and only after you complain and really loud (which seems to be a custom there). The staff is temporary for a season and openly does not care about anything as they are not going to be here the next summer. Room cleaning has no apparent pattern. They said to clean every day, but skipping one or two days was observed. Towels are supposed to be changed every 2-3 days, but longer periods were observed and obviously dirty towels with the soil on them were provided instead of clean ones. The private beach is located down below. It has about 100-150ft to enter the water made of stone as most beaches in Yalta. The other part of the beach has large boulders creating difficulty to approach the water. The beach is very small and gets crowded very quickly. The road walk to the beach made of sharp stone, so no barefoot walking. No cabins to change clothes.
