“A lesser quality Best Western Inn”

This Best Western was more standard roadside motel than inn/hotel and somewhat below what I have come to expect of Best Western Inns. It is well off the beaten track and a considerable distance from highway #45. There was a limited number of stairways to the upper level. The chain lock on the room was not functional and the rubber seal beneath the door was missing thereby letting in cold air and making it uncomfortable. Bed coverings were also somewhat sparse and well worn. Door keys didn't work on 2 0f 3 attempts. Breakfast the following morning was a real disappointment. Breakfast items were prewrapped in cellophane and not consistent with BW's standard and choices for continental breakfasts. It was meagre at best.

I choose this because it said it would allow pets. But when got there, the desk guy said no pets only guide dogs. If I wanted to pay extra and promise to keep the dog hidden and quite we could keep it with us also only take him out when no one was around. We had no choice but to pay extra. Never again, you have lost our family business.
