“Trip to Galveston and Houston, we will go back”

Don't let the 30 miles from Houston or Galveston scare you away from Alvin. There was not hardly any traffic to both places. The hotel is brand new and the place is beautiful. The staff was wonderful, they changed our room to a larger room, no questions asked, they just did it. They had homemade candy waiting at check in and lemonade for you to drink. The housekeeping did an immaculate job at keeping our room clean. The only thing that I found boring was the breakfast. We were looking for a waffle iron so we could make waffles. But the breakfast was hot. But you know, for the price and the cleanliness of the hotel, who cares. We will book this hotel again. Oh, yea free wireless internet. The beds were extremely comfortable, first hotel we stayed at where I didn't miss my bed at home.

“Good value for the money”

Everything was totally acceptable except waking up to yellow water for our morning shower. Excuse given by hotel staff, "Well, that's Alvin." I guess we'll call next time to see how the Alvin water is doing.
