"Nice hotel close to everything"
Nice hotel close to beach, bus stops and everything (since Minori is not that big). Rooms are small (especially shower), but clean. Ours was with double bed, and mine was a rather cranky one. Breakfast is good (don't expect an omelet with sausages though). Owners are hospitable and helpful.

"Peaceful,very comfortable,amazing views and staff!"
Suite was very quiet and comfortable with a luxurious garden/patio area all to ourselves. Overlooking the beautiful waters of the quaint and dramatically set town of Positano, we traveled at the very beginning of the season (early April so locally things were not in full swing yet and less crowded). If you are staying in Positano (my favorite of all the towns in the whole region), please realize that it is very steep and there is some level of physical exertion required to get around. Paula and her brothers, and Maria could not have made our stay more pleasant. We travelled from Rome to Salerno directly via the high speed train then took the ferry to Positano. This was a beautiful convenient option but dragging the suitcases up the steep Positano streets and steps were not fun (there's usually a car service for 15 Euros). I would call Maria ahead of time and ask her what's most convenient, as we saw golf carts that delivered the luggage to your hotel (we used the taxi). Maria's english is excellent and she can book anything you might need. Go directly to the beach if you want a ferry schedule, though online/ local newspapers seemed fairly accurate. Sita buses, the red tour buses, and the Circumvesuviana train schedules were usually accurate also. Though this hotel is not on the beach, it has an incredible pool area set high in the Positano cliffs. At night, the hotel staff can recommend restaurants and book reservations (they pick you up/drop you off).

"The perfect escape"
Beautiful room with all the amenities needed, room balcony with an amazing view. Delicious breakfeast! Perfect home away from home with the owners going out of their way to make you feel welcome. Cannot fault the place. Near by bus stop takes you in and out of town, nice to be away from the chaos of too many tourists.

"I thought this was a dream!"
We had an unbelievable time at Lloyd's Baia. The view from the hotel is incredible, the staff is good, breakfast amazing, the place is very clean and the fact that you can have your own balcony was a plus. Just 5 minutes walk from Vietri Sul Mare where you can get fresh great quality sea food. The beach was good and the elevator take you right down to the beach. Would definitely stay there again.

"Lovely hotel with beautiful views over the sea"
Hotel Marmorata is a lovely hotel. It was great to wake up to the sound of the sea outside our window every morning. The breakfast was great, a good choice of pastries, cereals, fruit, eggs etc, all in the restaurant overlooking the sea. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, everything we asked for there was never a problem. Would advise anyone staying to get a car to get the full benefit of the area as the roads are very steep and winding. Only one pizza/pasta restaurant within easy walking distance if not eating at the hotel every night. Paid 30 Euros for a taxi upto town of Ravello, which is a 10-15 min drive away. Very relaxed feeling at the hotel, has a private access area to the sea for swimming as well as a pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel

"Nice hotel with exellent views and good location."
The Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel in Atrani , is an excellent place to base your holiday on the Amalfi Coast. The town of Atrani has a nice mix of local people and a small number of tourists, as opposed to some of the other towns on the Amalfi coast which are more touristy. It is a pleasantly quiet town, which has some nice local restaurants, and its own beach. It is also only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the town of Amalfi (through a tunnel in the mountain) which gives you easy access to all the facilities of the larger town. There are good transport links to the rest of the Amalfi Coast via Sita Busses from Atrani, or Ferries (my favourite way of travelling along the coast) from Amalfi. The Palazzo Ferraioli Hotel is a very pleasant hotel, rooms advertised with a panoramic view have a spectacular view over the village of Atrani out to the sea. My the Gina Lollobrigida room (all the rooms are named after actresses, was very large and came equipped with a large Plasma TV and a jacuzzi. Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpfull, and all waiting and reception staff speak english. The hotel also has a spa and treatment center however I didn't get a chance so sample any of the treatments.

"great view if you get a balcony room."
We booked a classic room with balcony for the price of $119 US dollars. When we got there it was a room (while nice...actually quite lovely) but no balcony and NO window...just a skylight that opened. We complained and the owner did say it was a mistake on the web site. He did ask us to stay in the room for one night and he gave us a lovely room with a view. He did change the web site but be where...the lower price price has no windows .. sort of like an inside cabin but with a skylight. For the value and location is would be just great.
