If you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT NOW! Where can I start? First of all, Luigi and Francesco at Casa Nilde are the most amazing hosts ever. I cannot stress enough how kind, knowledgeable and helpful they were. Our transportation from the Naples airport to Casa Nilde was arranged by them which I highly recommend, Our driver Silvio was so kind and awesome as well. We clicked with him immediately. I was getting nauseous from all the curbs getting to Positano (I get really bad motion sickness), but Silvio stoped for me to get fresh air and get some of the lemon ice treats that are popular AND DELICIOUS there. It helped me a lot. We were thankful for that. Breakfast at Casa Nilde is so delicious and included. You schedule it to be brought to your room at a specific time and order it the day before before 20:00/8PM. The entire staff is super kind and helpful. We even forgot our key inside the room after 8pm (they’ve left for the day by this time), and their set up is so great that they don’t even need to come back to help us. They opened our room door from wherever they were. I was so impressed and grateful for this. We got gorgeous views from our balcony. Everything was pristine and cleaned well. Staff gave us fresh towels and made our bed daily, and it’s super convenient to get dropped off and picked up from their location as it is on a main road. Thank you Luigi, Francesco and Silvio. We had a great time!

Amaizing views and outstanding service.
Excellent location, outstanding hospitality and services. It is a small B&B with amazing views, large room with modern decor. Our breakfast was served in our balcony every morning. We would definitely return.

Amazing location and view!
Amazing BnB, very clean, great location, and a gorgeous view! Francesco and Luigi were so welcoming and gave us great restaurant suggestions. All of the staff were very friendly. Everything was so clean as well!

Amazing overall experience. Owners Francesco and Luigi were very welcoming. The sea view was beautiful. Breakfast served in the room patio was magical. Bit of a uphill walk coming back from the city center. Recommend taking the main road to and from the center. Do not take the village stairs, you’ll miss out on all the Positano views. SITA bus stop was a 5 min walk away from room. This place is better than the pictures.

Issues at the property prevented us from enjoying the room, accomodations, and amenities we were promised and expected. Communication was poor and purposely thin on details until we arrived and had no options to rectify the situation. I would look at other properties in the area because it's a wonderful city but you could be stuck with something you weren't expecting once you arrive with no alternative.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at Casa Nilde and we looooved our stayed there. The room was super comfortable and the view from our balcony was amazing!!! The place is so thoughtful withe every detail mattering. Location is also good and breakfast was taken to our room every morning. Hosts Franchesco and Luigie were super serviceable and helpful. They arranged for us the service of a driver from Napoles to Positano and for the way back. Their recommendations for tours, points of interest and dinner were always right on point. Do not hesitate to book!!!

We loved everything about our stay at Casa Nilde. The staff was so kind and helpful; from restaurant recommendations, a map walk through of the city, helping book our taxi, it was clear they were invested in our experience. Our favorite favorite thing was breakfast on our balcony, Positano was beautiful and we were able to start everyday with a long delicious breakfast on our own balcony. We will be back to Positano and we will stay here again next time.

B&B Casa Nilde is a cute little B&B hidden on the hillside of Positano. The brothers that own/run the B&B are fantastic and very attentive to those staying with them. Rooms were clean and the location was great, close to the bus station and not too far (just lots of steps:) from the beach. The breakfast in bed was fantastic, great menu to choose from and it was included in our price and delivered right to our room. Highly recommend. We also made reservations at an incredible restaurant (La Tagliata, MUST GO incredible) and our host called them and arranged a ride for us. Great all around.

Casa Nilde was exceptional. Francesco and Luigi gave fantastic restaurant and activity recommendations, were quick in responding to our requests before we arrived, and were so warm and friendly. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and spacious. And having breakfast delivered every morning was a real treat. Especially when we were able to eat on the balcony overlooking the sea. Luigi and Francesco were great hosts with assistance on where to eat magnificent food, coaching on what staircases to take to reach your destination along with bus, and ferry information. The property was sparkling clean, great breakfasts, beautiful views, a mini fridge stocked with snacks (complimentary) and Presecco and beer (at a cost). There was an electric kettle and tea in the room as well. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows (thank you so much for that!). We had a sitting area on the deck and a couch in the room for resting. We loved Positano and Casa Nilde - the only question - when can we return?

Sleepless in Positano
The place seemed lovely upon our arrival. We were happy to have a separate area for our kids beds, but there was no air conditioning in that room and it was 90 degrees. My daughter got too hot the first night, so I agreed to stay in her bed the second night. Between the heat and feeling like there were bugs on me, I didn’t sleep all night, only to realize, when my son woke up in his bed, he had ants crawling on his face and neck!! The Manager was indifferent to the situation and acted like I was being unreasonable to expect that we should only have to pay only for the double room rate, not the quadruple for the second night. He said, sorry, we’ve already charged you, nothing I can do.

When you wrote on your review that you slept the second night in your daughter's bed due to a really hot temperature, that is not possible as your reservation was for just 1 night and you staied here in Casa Nilde for just 1 night, please check by yourself your reservation and you will see that you booked us for just 1 night, so you never slept a second night here. A very nice place to stay. The hosts, brothers Luigi and Francesco, were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone stating in Positano. Approximately 30 metres down the road was a shop that sold take a way meals that were cooked then and there in front of you - fresh, delicious and cheaper than the restaurants down the road.

The property was beautifully decorated and had the most wonderful hosts who gave us a map and lots of helpful tips. I would definitely stay again. The room and bathroom was very spacious and the air conditioner worked great even on really hot days. The terrace has a beautiful view and the host makes sure every need is met. (Note- if you have issues with steps this will not be a place for you to stay).

We loved the balcony and the views. The bed was very comfortable. Also I liked the fact that free cold water was provided. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Made us feel like part of the family. The only complaint but more a suggestion, is that the coffee could be improved by purchasing a proper coffee machine rather than the pod coffee machine.

We had the best time here. Francisco and Luigi are the best. Everything we asked for was provided immediately and with a smile. If you are going to the beach or the port, be ready for a LOT of stairs. It is about a 15 minute walk down stairs the entire time. Walking back up is a challenge, but the view, the property and the service are well worth it. We do look forward to coming back in the near future.
