Nice hotelPosted Jul 20, 2015
This hotel is by the Mediterranean sea and the access to the sea is within the hotel limits. That's the super nice feature about this hotel. Also, a very nice breakfast is included.

Go therePosted Jul 10, 2015
Pros: The food was fabulous and the staff incredibly friendly.
Cons: The breakfast room was a little stuffy
Location: fab. Just potter
We had an amazing time -the location of the hotel could not have been better- and the fact that we could eat overlooking the bay was great. Swimming in the sea or watching the boats bobbing around was so relaxing.

Great sceneryPosted Jun 15, 2015
We had great scenery, but there was no hot water the first day to shower, it was a bad feeling taking cool shower for my family.

Friendly hotel with good access to the seaPosted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: easy access to the sea and good facilities around that. the staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Only downside was that it was stated on Expedia as being in Ravello. Hotel was chosen for that specifically and needed to drive there - disappointing
Location: good location with access to amalfi, minori and key tourist attractions but nothing easily walkable from the hotel. I think a car was a necessity
We stayed at the Marmorata for 4 nights in the beginning of June. The hotel wasn't crowded and the facilities providing access to the sea and for sun bathing were spot on. The food was good and the restaurant beautifully situated overlooking the coast line. Unfortunately it was quite quiet which meant that the atmosphere was a bit lacking.

Nice hotel hidden away from the hustle and bustlePosted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: The hotel was in a great setting, with fantastic views.
Cons: The restaurant, the menu is mostly fish, which is great if you like fish! They should include more pasta dishes. More communication from some staff.
Location: 30 min walk to Amalfi, 10 min walk to Minori, Ravello 6k away need to get bus, small boat trip will collect from hotel to Capri, boat to Positano
We chose the hotel for its amenities and most importantly because it had a pool. The setting was great, fantastic views from the pool and the restaurant. They had a shuttle which ran three times per day to Amalfi, where you can get boats to other places or catch a bus to ravello. Amalfi gets busy through the day with cruise ships. We took a boat to Positano, which is small and beautiful. We organised a trip from the hotel to Capri, which was a boat for a max of 12 people and took you around the island seeing the green grotto, Le Galli Islands, then dropped us off in Capri for 4 hours for shopping, sightseeing and lunch. Capri was busy and we took a taxi to the old town, which was fun as the wait for the cable car was too long. You could walk from the hotel to Amalfi, which took 30 mins for us, 10 mins to Minori, ravello was too far to walk.

nice hotel but a little isolatedPosted May 4, 2015 on Hotels
Good points: Friendly helpful staff Beautiful views Comfy clean room Good shower Nice food Bad points: Semi-Isolated location - it claims to be in ravello but is actually 15 min drive away from the square which cost us 30-50 euros in a taxi each way. The hotel has nothing next to it. You need to travel into almafi or ravello if you want shops, restaurants etc but traffic was a problem when we went and taxi's refused to take us back to the hotel from almafi on one of the days so we had to Walk. Service out on the terrace was really bad on one day but it was a public holiday in Italy so they were particularly busy. Service was good all other times.

Wonderful views and great servicePosted Apr 12, 2015 on Hotels
Great service and wonderful views! The hotel, though, is a bit isolated. However, they do have a shuttle service to Amalfi. It would be good if this service, though, was offered for more hours and into the evening.
