Wonderful placePosted Jul 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Teresa was extremely nice and friendly and gave us the key first so we could set our luggage down before the paperwork. The room was very large and opened onto a beautiful balcony with a breathtaking view. Room was very clean and the continental breakfast was exceptional. Wifi did not work in the room but did work on the balcony Somewhat difficult to find at first. close to fornillo beach. I was sad to leave this place

charming b&b with an amazing viewPosted Jul 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed 4 nights at casa teresa and were happy with our experience. The room we were given was exactly as the pictures showed it to be; very clean and charming. Teresa is super sweet and helpful although trying to communicate in english can be a bit difficult but we managed to find a way through this. Her son, Enzo was also very helpful and spoke fluent english. They gave us tips for restaurants which we tried and were very happy with. Breakfast on the terrace is a great way to start your day, it's more like a light breakfast consisting of coffee/tea and croissants and toast with fresh jams and butter and that was fine with us. The location is a bit off the beaten path and depending on the way you get there, can prove difficult. I recommend arriving by the main road and then taking a few stairs down to the casa rather than taking the 400 some steps from the fornillo beach which is what we did upon arrival and were luckily saved by a porter who took our luggage directly to casa teresa for us; thank you vladimir for your help. The fornillo beach is lovely but be prepared for the stairs. Positano has many stairs but is well worth the trouble as it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.Thank you very much teresa and family for a wonderful time spent with you!

Great service, Teresa is a sweetheart!Posted May 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
- location ok, mid to high level of Positano in older area (newer, more renovated, cleaner area of Positano on opposite side of city) - Teresa is a sweet older Italian woman who is very helpful and will even make you a nice coffee while you sit on the patio :) - this B&B is well known by locals and has been around for years - wifi only located in patio area, not in rooms - plenty of restaurants within 2 minutes of B&B - rooms are clean and old school italian decorated - walk to beach below is about 300 steps down so if you have bad knees don't stay here, pick a place a little lower in the city

Wonderful people, beautiful viewsPosted Sep 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice & accommodating. Family B&B with nicely appointed rooms & relaxing breakfast with great views of the sea. Good price point, be prepared to handle a lot of steps. Would not recommend if you require assistance. Overall nice experience.

Great place to stay.Posted Aug 24, 2013
Pros: Tidy, clean, well appointed rooms. Very quiet and relaxing. Private balcony.
Cons: Not having to pay extra for air conditioning. WiFi service.
Location: Beach below the hotel. Quite a few steps down and back up but it is like that in all Positano. Wonderful restaurants and shops. Ferry to Capri.
Excellent voice or a peaceful, relaxing stay in Positano. Wonderful, accommodating staff who made us feel welcome. 150 steps down to hotel, so suggest you organise porters.

Well-located, delightful stay.Posted Jul 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Everything was as expected. In addition, we had requested an extra night, but the B & B was fully booked. Teresa, Enzo & Pino were kind enough to find us a nearby accommodation in a villa with a view to die for! A good location, but, as is the rule in Positano, a lot of steps up & down regardless of where you want to go.

Wonderful LocationPosted Jul 9, 2013
Pros: Wonderful room with a feeling of being at home!
Cons: The option to eat there would have been great but it was close to restaurants.
Location: Location was perfect - not the main beach area but we liked the smaller beach better anyway. Restaurants were a short walk away.
We just returned from a 4 day stay at Casa Teresa. Our room was wonderful with a view of the water. If we are ever back we would stay there again!

Positano dreamPosted Nov 8, 2012
Pros: Family warmth, spectacular views
Cons: Be prepared for steps
Location: Great location in Positano
We booked Casa Teresa for 5 nights, but ended up staying for 9; we just did not want to leave. We had an enormous room with lounge area and patio. The room was very clean with a lovely bathroom & shower, and the view was spectacular. Signora Teresa and her family made us so welcome and gave us very helpful information on how to get around the area. We were served breakfast in the downstairs area with the wonderful sea and mountain views every morning, and enjoyed our conversations with Dino. As with most hotels in Positano, you have to be prepared to walk up and down steps with your luggage. There were several excellent restaurants very close by, where we enjoyed the local cuisine.

Perfect Authentic Positano HotelPosted Sep 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Teresa with Teresa & her hubby. They made us so welcome after a delayed flight arrival and late drive to Positano. They gave a a lovely glass of wine and came up the steps to meet us. Close car parking at Parkacheggio Anna. We did not want another 5 star hotel - just something authentic with a homely atmosphere and buried down the many delightful back alley ways. It was an adventure to find it though it was not difficult. The room was lovely, very clean inc the smallish but adequate bathroom. It also had a lovely balcony with views to the water. Nice breakie too. We discovered the smaller more relaxed adjacent beach with the beach cafes - perfect to relax and well priced! We will go again! Perfect Positano.

Great viewsPosted Sep 21, 2012
Pros: The view from the room
Cons: The steps to the hotel
Location: It was close to shops and restaurants
It was a lovely place to stay. Teresa was very pleasant and helpful. The only drawback was the amount of steps to get to the room with luggage but otherwise would go back.
