“Impressed”

My partner and I found the Domina Home Royal Positano to be clean, comfortable and the staff helpful. The hotel has its own stepped path down to Positano however I would recommend the bus back.

“A wonderful experience !”

Litterly hanging on a cliff, wonderful views of Positano and the Mediterranean sets the scene.The hotel has all the amenities, a beautiful pool with lounges and sunning area for many. You can walk through a vegetation lined gorge down 400 steps to town or take the shuttle for a 3 minute ride. Rooms are a bit small when comparing to American standards.

“Very Friendly and Accomodating Staff”

We enjoyed our 1 week stay in Positano at the Domina Inn Royal and can't wait to go back. The staff members were very courteous and accomodating to all our needs whenever we had any. Make sure that when you book that you request a room with a nice view, since it's basically a must-have whenever staying in Positano. We only ate dinner once at their restaurant, which was fine but there were many others downtown that we really enjoyed.

“Perfect Place to Stay”

The Domina Royal was perfect for us. It is up on the hill in Positano, with easy bus access right outside the front door. The hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Our room had a very small window, but an incredible view from it! It seems like some room have balconies, others not, and maybe others no view at all - so be sure to inquire. We loved their outdoor deck - perfect for drinks, or just hanging out. They also had a great pool that was nice for relaxing. A very nice place to stay - we would go back.

“Amazing location, friendly and welcoming.”

After reading previous reviews i was concerned about visiting the hotel but what a surprise I had, the hotel is clean, friendly and had everything needed for a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is built on a cliff so had alot of corridors to go down but again it is built into a cliff!!!! The pool area was fantastic and eating and drinking facilities were excellent. The rooms were spacious and light . I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only problem was the long walk down to the beach and back up the hill afterwards but the views from the hotel made up for this.

“Very Pleased”

We were so pleased with our stay at this hotel; great views and we enjoyed our private balcony. THe staff was more than helpful and nice. Finding our room was a challenge at first but we were able to work our way around eventually. we didn't mind the 400 steps hike down to town ( even with an almost 2 yr old baby , stroller and all )in tow.

“Positano Visit”

General access around the hotel grounds and internally is by stairs due to the location being on a steep hillside. Some rooms are only accessible by stairs which may be a consideration for some potential guests. Breakfast was a buffet with a selection of meats, cheese, croissant, bread, cereal etc. Plenty of loungers around pool with parasols and towels available, the hotel requires you to wear a bathing cap for use of the pool, for sale at 7 euros each, which we had never encountered before. Overall a pleasant stay, fab view from pool.
