Wonderful

I already want to book a return trip! The views are spectacular, the food and drink excellent (and not overpriced compared with Positano), and all of the staff were just fantastic. Incredibly helpful and kind.

Breathtaking views

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The location is fantastic. The views from every angle and corner of this hotel are breathtaking.
Cons: This is not a lively hotel. I would suggest music by the pool, bar and restaurant to give it some life and sophisticated ambience.
Location: Within walking distance if you are in shape to Positano which has a nice beach, good shopping, restaurants and bars with nightly entertainment.
Great location between Positano and Amalfi. Perfect for a vacation that combines beach and culture.

Wonderful hotel with private beach and great lunch spot. Here you can swim, water taxi to great nearby locations or just relax watching boats cruising by. Amazing staff, so friendly and providing excellent service. Delicious breakfast with fantastic cappuccino & cakes and great tasting fruit. Excellent restaurant to watch sunset.

Away from the hustle and bustle. Magnificent!

This hotel's common areas are the most beautiful I've ever seen. Flowers and plantings galore inside and out. And the view?! WOW! When you arrive, go to the lobby bar and see Antonio. He will spoil you rotten! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality Antonio provided us upon our arrival and throughout our four days here. The remaining staff we encountered were also very welcoming. We especially enjoyed our dinner waiter, Joseph. He was very knowledgable of the food and wine and made our meals extra special. Our hotel room was acceptable. We spent very little time in it. Gorgeous floor and wall tile throughout the room and balcony. The bathroom was quite small with no vanity space. The TV was a very small antiquated version. It wasn't a big deal for us, but if TV is important to you, you might be disappointed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!

Amazing views and lift to beach!

Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Views. Staff. Seashore
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in rooms. Decorate.
Location: Just outside Praiano - lovely village - but walkable . Near Positano, also lovely.
Friendly helpful staff, amazing views, staggering lift to rocky seashore. Slightly tired decor in rooms. Expensive

Great hotel

Posted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Liked the hotel. Great location between Positano (7 km) and Praiano (1km). Gives the ability to avail the facilities of the more commercial town of Positano and also have access to the small town of Praiano. Great breakfast spread and one highly rated restaurant. Has a bus stop for the SITA and the orange bus. Provides booking to the Capri island if you want to do it with pickup from the private beach of the hotel. Pompeii / Vesuvius bus trips were not arranged at the concierge which was the only issue we faced. But if you arrange ahead in time you can do it online and also get it arranged in Praiano at one of the hotels.

Million dollar View!

Posted Oct 2, 2013
Pros: View!!!!
Cons: A little more updating, like new faucets, flat screen TVs,
Location: BEautiful scenery, local bus takes you to top seaside locations, lots of shopping, good food and sea side fun! It is the most beautiful place ever!!!
Six of us were traveling together, we had our own wing of the hotel with views to die for. We loved it. Breakfast was great, our waiter was so so. We all loved the hotel and the Amalfi coast. Only one bad bed and 1 shower would'nt drain and the elevator to the beach broke down. But all & all a fabulous stay!

Spectacular mountainside location

Posted Sep 27, 2013
Pros: Just about everything!
Cons: When people book stay, have suppliers give precise location, i.e. parking structure on seaside of road, 2Km west of Praiano on Amalfi Coast highway.
Views from hotel at many different locations and levels were fantastic. Service at bar and restaurant were excellent. Food was wonderful. Do not miss the trip down to the beach and beach bar. Carry your camera at all times, even when sitting on balcony of room.
