Location, location, location!Posted Nov 1, 2013
Centrally located to shops, restaurants and buses this tucked away, cute hotel has everything you need for a great stay in Amalfi! The staff is very friendly and professional. The cost of the hotel is modest and worth every euro! Enjoyed my stay and would book a return to this charming Italian jewel.

Great Place to Stay in AmalfiPosted Oct 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location is wonderful - can walk everywhere easily. You must climb alot of steps to get there which is fine since it is quiet, away from the main drag. Breakfast on the terrace is excellent and the views are amazing. First I was given room 309 which was near the elevator and had kids running around in the hall making noise. But after I complained, they moved us to a quiet room in the garden so we could not have been happier. The family who runs it is very lovely and caring. I would not stay anywhere else when in Amalfi.

Central location at a sensible pricePosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: Commitment of staff to guest needs, and quiet location back from Main Street.
Cons: They are trying to improve wifi connection to service individual rooms. Work in progress.
We were given a separate room behind the hotel in an orange grove garden. The main hotel itself is one building back from the main street and must be much quieter than others. There are hoards of tourists in this town. Our room was exceptionally quiet and had a private balcony overlooking rooftops and the mountains beyond. Only one of these rooms in the hotel. Because of the garden there were a few mosquitoes but the fine curtain kept them (and some of the fresh air) out. Air conditioners switched off after October 1st. The staff and management were exceptionally friendly and helped with printing boarding passes, advice on walks etc that was not available from tourist info. This was one of our best stays in 7 weeks in Europe and was very good value. Good memories.

Great hotel and close to everything.Posted Sep 18, 2013
Cons: Wireless signals very weak and could not access internet in room had to use lobby.
Location: Location is excellent...right in the center of town close to restaurants, buses, boats, shopping.
The hotel couldn't have been in a better location....close to beach...public transportation...restaurants...and right in the center of town. The hotel room was small but comfortable and clean. The staff wonderful and very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Very pleasant smallish hotel in center of town.Posted Sep 15, 2013
Location: There are many possible trips by local buses or boats, though they do tend to be crowded. Capri, Sorrento, and Ravello probably top destinations.
This is a family-run hotel in a reconditioned old building just off the main street. Approached by flight of steps, so probably not ideal for the infirm, but surprisingly quiet considering its location. Provided you don't want anything deluxe, an excellent choice.

Such a fantastic location!Posted Sep 9, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location. And parking facilities.
Location: Amalfi is a dream destination. Locals are very friendly and activities include sightseeing, cruises, arts, churches, museums, swim. Great food too.
We spent 2 nights on honeymoon, and this (with the Amalfi Coast in general) might have been a highlight of our trip. This hotel is perfectly located right in the historic centre, but on a back street, so peaceful and quiet, albeit just a few steps from the buzz. Honestly, I can't remember the room itself, nondescript but functional. But the friendliness and the location beat all the rest. And very convenient as well that they can take care of your car, if not at the small garage located below the hotel, at least at a protected parking in town.

Excellent hotel near Amalfi squarePosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The hotel is a half a minute's walk from the centre square in Amalfi.
Location: Very near centre of Amalfi and right by the Marina.
All round fantastic stay. Hotel staff and breakfast staff were very helpful, they did everything they could to make my stay a pleasant one.

conveniently situatedPosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel well situated, close to town centre, bus stops and harbour. Room small, clean and functional but only suitable if you are not intending to spend any time in it other than to sleep. Communal areas clean but not beautiful. Breakfast fine, but expect to have to ask for coffee, as staff unlikely to bother to offer you any.

Amalfi HotelPosted Aug 27, 2013
Enjoyed my stay here very much. The ladies that run the hotel are very helpful and nice. The hotel is right in the middle of Amalfi so it's very convenient to many of the shops and the Duomo. The rooms are nice and VERY big in comparison to most older European hotels. They have a terrace on the 5th floor where the cafeteria is situated. Beautiful views to enjoy while having your breakfast. If I return to Amalfi, I'd certainly stay there again.
