Great stay. Lovely staff and great location with car park. Its a no frills place - homely rather than trendy.

Comfortable hotel, very convenient location in Amalfi. Friendly staff, great breakfast, perfectly located for trips out on beach days or exploring the other towns on the Amalfi coast.

Comfortable hotel. Great location.

Pros: Location, room size, kitchenette.
Location: Great location. Spend a day at Porto Venere.
Great location in the Main Street but needed to close the shutters to keep out noise at night. Lots of stairs to our room but worth the climb. Very spacious with a kitchenette. Wifi didn't work in our room. Staff gave great advice on which restaurants to dine at.

Central location overall enjoyable visit

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Location,breakfast,large bathroom.
Cons: Garden.
Location: Very central location, just off the Main Street. Very close to beach, cathedral, harbour, bus station and piazza.
The room was simple but clean and comfortable, the hotels location was very central which was great. The breakfast was very nice but limited on choice. The garden and the terrace was disappointing as the pictures on the website where slightly misleading. Overall a nice stay but ever so slightly disappointing.

Centrally located to shops, restaurants and buses this tucked away, cute hotel has everything you need for a great stay in Amalfi! The staff is very friendly and professional. The cost of the hotel is modest and worth every euro! Enjoyed my stay and would book a return to this charming Italian jewel.

Great Place to Stay in Amalfi

Posted Oct 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Location is wonderful - can walk everywhere easily. You must climb alot of steps to get there which is fine since it is quiet, away from the main drag. Breakfast on the terrace is excellent and the views are amazing. First I was given room 309 which was near the elevator and had kids running around in the hall making noise. But after I complained, they moved us to a quiet room in the garden so we could not have been happier. The family who runs it is very lovely and caring. I would not stay anywhere else when in Amalfi.

Central location at a sensible price

Pros: Commitment of staff to guest needs, and quiet location back from Main Street.
Cons: They are trying to improve wifi connection to service individual rooms. Work in progress.
We were given a separate room behind the hotel in an orange grove garden. The main hotel itself is one building back from the main street and must be much quieter than others. There are hoards of tourists in this town. Our room was exceptionally quiet and had a private balcony overlooking rooftops and the mountains beyond. Only one of these rooms in the hotel. Because of the garden there were a few mosquitoes but the fine curtain kept them (and some of the fresh air) out. Air conditioners switched off after October 1st. The staff and management were exceptionally friendly and helped with printing boarding passes, advice on walks etc that was not available from tourist info. This was one of our best stays in 7 weeks in Europe and was very good value. Good memories.
