Beautiful hotelPosted Oct 12, 2014
Cons: It's perfect!
Location: Great location and the center of the town s about 10 minutes away walking distance.
It was a very nice surprise to see a hotel with a parking lot just next to the hotel and a beautiful and very convenient location at the Amalfi coast.

Comfortable, Clean and SpaciousPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Spacious, Clean, Comfortable, Parking, lovely walk with view into town. Rooftop terrace.
Cons: There could be more variety for breakfast.
Location: Lovely town to wander around with many lovely restaurants and gelatarias. Beautiful cathedral with a museum inside. Boat trips around Amalfi coast.
We visited this family run hotel at the beginning of June 2014. We had a family room which was spacious with a large bathroom that always had hot water whatever the time of day! Everything was very clean and we had everything we neeeded. Our room didn't have a view however we had access to the rooftop where there were sun beds to enjoy the view. The view could also be seen from the lounge area and breakfast room. Breakfast was adequate and was the same every day. Once you sat down they brought over a platter of meats and cheese. There was also bread, a choice of jams and various spreads and croissants. There was the choice of juice, tea and coffee, which was ok but nothing special. There was a 20 minute walk into the town but felt quick as we were surrounded by spectacular views. The footpath disappears half way and you are left on the road however there is a beautiful shortcut. You have the choice of following the road or going down stairs - we counted 89- but you quickly get used to these as we were going into town 2/3 times a day. The hotel was very spacious, comfortable and clean. It was Everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel and more. Good value for money. On departure the owner surprised us with a bag of fresh apricots and a bottle of water for the long journey ahead. Parking is available outside hotel, can be scary reversing onto busy main road on a bend, however there's a member of staff to help with this. Would definitely recommend.

Worst Hotel ever!! Keep away from this place.Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Extremely clean Free parking Great location Quiet Cons: 4 slices of bread/cheese/prosciutto (24 euros) Bins smell Uncomfortable pillows Sun loungers uncomfortable 150 channels on tv - all italian Bread bread breaaaaaaaad!! No snacks at the bar Uncomfortable breakfast room Staff also very uncomfortable around owner Fake smiles No iron allowed - iron only available in breakfast room after 11am once you have pre-booked with owner. Bath. No plug hole filler ... He's saving money. Hide food in your suitcase or safe He switches off internet to ensure by 11:30am everyone is out of the hotel. He's checking your bag to see if you are bringing food. Be careful!! Ask the owner for advice and get told that if you have no money don't go there!! What a nice man Tommaso is. This morning we decided to skip breakfast. After 5 days of eating the same dry breakfast in an incredibly uncomfortable breakfast room (where the waiters are so on edge because the owner has instilled so much fear into them that this is passed onto to every guest in the hotel) we decided to enjoy our breakfast at a local bar in Amalfi. For the first time since for breakfast we arrived, we had a proper tea, coffee and a lovely toasted mozzarella and tomato panini... Yum yum!! Worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. Staff have been trained to be nasty to their customers. The owner is saving money however he can. He is a con artist!!

Bellevue Suite reviewPosted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Free parking, wifi, cleanliness, views
Cons: Perhaps be a tad more welcoming to new visitors.
Location: Location near Amalfi but is also near a stony beach and swimming pool (La Neriedia). Amalfi is nice to explore on foot along with other towns nearby.
Very nice hotel near the heart of Amalfi. The owner and staff run a pretty tight ship here, which can be a tad off-putting at first but it's for the customer's benefit. View was amazing, breakfast was very nice, staff were helpful and everything was very clean. The only thing that was a tad misleading is the fact that this hotel has no swimming pool, so you need to take a free shuttle ride to the local La Neriedia swimming pool in the hills. However the pool facilities and views were mind-blowing!

Exceptionally clean and friendlyPosted Jun 29, 2014
Just one kilometre from the centre of Amalfi, the hotel is close enough for a lovely walk into Amalfi but far enough away to have parking and quiet.....the cleanliness was exceptional....staff very helpful....very comfortable......can easily recommend the hotel to anyone who doesn't mind a nice walk into town.....the views on the way are fabulous too

A lovely, intimate hotel in a beautiful location.Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, service, free wi-fi, location, parking, the view!
Cons: Very little.
The hotel was exactly as described. We arrived and the owner (Thomas) and manager (Antonio) did all they could to make us as comfortable as possible. They even drove us into town once when we were in a hurry! The hotel is in a fantastic location (close to town, but not too close), is exceptionally clean, breakfast and coffee was lovely and there is abundant parking (very important in this area). Thomas persuaded us to take the larger room upstairs with the large balcony for a very reasonable extra fee. I recommend these rooms with the large deck, sun loungers and fabulous views. We were sad to leave and I hope I am lucky enough to stay there again.

Lovley room, strange atmosphere!Posted Oct 31, 2013
Cons: The list of rules in a book and on a poster on the wall were a bit unwelcoming!
Beautiful room, with balcony overlooking the Amalfi coast, and a handy parking spot. 15 minute walk into Amalfi, easy on the way down, a bit harder on the way back up.

Hotel BellevuePosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Staff went out of their way to assist us any way they could. Loved private terrace.
Cons: More variety in breakfast.
Location: On outskirts of town. Bus goes right in front of hotel. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
Nice clean hotel. Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms were good and we had a private terrace to share with our travel companions. Breakfast could have more variety, but was ample. Private beach nearby was great, but there were a lot of steep steps to it. Hotel is on outskirts of town, but within walking distance or by bus.
