Good location, in desperate need of a revampPosted Jul 14, 2014
Breakfast was below average Hotel decor needs a complete overhaul Not worth the high price tag (although this may be Positano on the whole)

Stunning viewPosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Lovely small hotel, tastefully furnished, beautifully clean and well equipped. Friendly and efficient service. Amazing view from the balcony. Situation good for the view but it is a fairly long walk up from the town and beach on the road or a short but tiring climb up 420 steps. So, only suitable for fit people who enjoy a bit of exercise.

Casa de ViewPosted Jul 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
Definitely all of Positano requires going up and down stairs, and the view from the Hotel balcony was wonderful, especially the full moon shining down on the town and water below. So it is worth the climb. It was a bit odd that there were no towel bars for wet towels. We draped ours over the chairs. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful, spoke English, helped with the ferry schedules.

Loved it.Posted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: The service was outstanding.
Location: The hotel itself overlooks the sea. It is very centrally located. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
Marco and Alfonso and the rest of the staff here did an incredible job. No stress, great service, and very kind/helpful people work here. Thank you guys for making our stay in Positano a memorable one.

The WORST hotel experience of my lifePosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The view of the coastline
Cons: The staff and attitude. The management!
WARNING!! This would have to be THE WORST hotel I have EVER been to anywhere in the world. From Australia to Asia to Europe and Americas. This is THE worst. I have never been treated so badly at a hotel before in my life. The manager/owner is the rudest most arrogant guy you will ever cross paths with. This hotel single handedly ruined my whole experience in Italy and left me on a sour note. The view we had from the hotel of the coastline and Positano was breathtaking so we wanted to share the experience with a friend and asked him up to our room while we got ready for dinner. The manager wanted none of this and barred our friend from entering the room. The manager wanted to charge us 50euros to allow our friend to sit in the room with us while we got ready while also quoting some ridiculous reason that it was against the law for people not staying at the hotel to be inside the room. To cap things off the manager yelled, scolded and argued with my fiancé and treated us like rubbish and he was doing us a service by allowing us to stay at his hotel. Words cannot describe the treatment we received. We ended up checking out of the hotel immediately after having paid for 3 nights. Please be wary if booking this hotel

great viewPosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay, the people on the front desk were very helpful and friendly. The view from our room was really nice and probably would stay there again. The Breakfast was weak and the coffee was terrible, could not drink it. A lot of steps to get to the hotel but it is Positano and steps are everywhere there.

Hotel a little hard to find.Posted Feb 18, 2013
Pros: pretty town
Cons: difficult to get to hotel
Getting to the hotel was a challenge with our luggage. We took a bus from Sorrento and had to walk about a mile from the bus stop to the hotel with our luggage. It would be nice to have a better way to help guests with their luggage. Also, if I returned to the area, I probably would not stay in Positano. Although it is a picturesque town, the difficulty getting to the hotel outweighs the advantage of staying there for the night. It would have been better to spend the night in Sorrento or Amalfi, where there is more to see and do, and visit Positano on a day trip only.

We stayed three nights. Front desk personnel were first class, breakfast on balcony awesome, you won't find that view and breakfast everywhere. Hotel is about two-thirds up the mountain from the beach and main shopping area, but that is how you get the great view. Great restaurants for evening dining right out your door, go for a room on the bay.
