Beautiful Hotel, wonderful views and amazing staffPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Views, Room and Staff
Location: Beach nearby, Lovely Pool - shops and restaurants to visit
We got to the Hotel around 4ish and were greeted outside by Dominic - our bags were taken for us and we were shown around the hotel and then up to our room. He explained all about the location and how to get around - really helpful. The room was spotless and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Shortly after Tony came to our room with some Prosecco! This hotel is highly recommended its in a really good location, a hilly walk to the beach which was a lovely stroll through the main shops in Positano. The food is delicious too so would recommend the restaurant. Breakfast was amazing and Tony is so lovely and friendly and takes great pride in his breakfast buffet! This is a lovely place to stay and enjoy Positano!!

Amazing Views!Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The staff and the food-wonderful!
Cons: The double beds were a little odd-would have preferred a queen size at least (one bed).
Location: The location is excellent as noted. A quick walk to the shops, restaurants and only about 90 min from Naples airport.
Our stay at Hotel Eden Roc was amazing. The staff all go out of their way to make you feel special! There is a lovely wine/cheese tasting every evening in the bar and Carlo and Salvatore make sure you are taken care of! The breakfast buffet was amazing and Tony will make you feel as though you never want to leave! The rooftop restaurant is wonderful-the service and food are top quality! Having a rooftop pool is an added bonus for those hot days when we wanted to cool off before dinner. The walk down to the beach and marina is only about 10 minutes, but not for those with issues with steep inclines and declines.

FantasticPosted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The friendliness of the staff, and their efficiency in making sure that everything was just as we needed...nothing was too much trouble.
Location: Recommend Arienzo beach - get a boat there from the jetty in Positano. It's cheap, quiet compared to the town beach, and you can get a great lunch.
We have just returned from a 3 night break at the Eden Roc. It is by far the best hotel in terms of service that we have ever stayed in. The hotel arranged a car to collect us from the airport (Positano Cars) and the driver was courteous and very knowledgable, making the journey very pleasant. The welcome we received was brilliant. Our room was beautiful with a massive terrace overlooking the sea and Positano. It was very comfortable with a fully stocked mini bar and comfy bed. We ate in the Terrace restaurant for lunch and dinner and the food was amazing. All of our requests were met with no problems and they even remembered our favorite nightcaps and how much i enjoyed their homemade chocolates (which were delicious!). All of the staff were brilliant, especially Simona and Tony who is very sweet, an excellent pastry chef and makes THE BEST CAPPUCCINOS in the world!! Thanks so much to all of the staff who really made our stay a pleasure

Nice hotel on the hillside with great viewsPosted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: Big rooms, friendly staff and they have cable
Location: The vews along the 'walk ofthe gods' trails are fab.
Friendly and helpful staff - nothing is too much trouble. Great spot for a quiet vacation - Positano is lovely but there's not a lot going on and is not as upmarket as Portofino etc. Breakfast was good going by Italy 'norm' - I notice there have been some negative comments from other reviewers, and yes there were alot of cakes but there was more than enough non-sweet options e.g. Muesli and other cereals, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt ( although not natural/greek style), scrambled eggs, quiche and frittata etc. For other meals there are much better restaurants in and around the town.

Amazing start to our Honeymoon!Posted Jun 7, 2014
This place was beautiful! The staff was so friendly and knowledgable and helpful! The hotel is gorgeous and very close to the center of town- about a 5 minute walk down a hill, but a beautiful walk and the exercise felt nice after everything we ate!! Most days we sat by the pool and ordered lunch and wine. Awesome views from the top floor where the pool was located. Don't sleep through breakfast like we did most mornings. We only caught it once and it was amazing! Probably saved us about 40-50e that morning. I would skip the massage- I've definitely had better, but literally everything else was way beyond our expectations! Staff even helped us arrange transportation to our next stop. We had room 416 which was a junior suite with a sea view. Definitely worth the upgrade. The views from our private balcony were breathtaking!! We would definitely stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to come back one day!!

Beautiful Hotel.Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: The staff, the room, the location, the breakfast buffet. In general, everything.
Cons: Can't think of anything that could be improved.
Location: Swimming in the Mediterranean, visiting the numerous shops. Taking a scooter ride to the grotto. Dining at the numerous restaurants.
We were very impressed with everything about this hotel. We were greeted by the front desk staff who personally took us to our room and explained everything about the room and the hotel facilities. The included breakfast buffet was delicious and offered an abundance of delicious pastries. The waiters were very friendly and made sure you had everything you needed. They went above what was expected to make our meal enjoyable. The room was beautiful and very well maintained. The entire staff was very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay memorable.

Amazing staff, great hotelPosted May 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
My familly and I loved staying here. The rooms feel a little old-fashioned (not outdated) just because it's a mediterranean style, and all of the buildings in the area are older, but honestly it didn't make a difference. We checked out of this hotel and then checked into a St. Regis in Florence, and while the rooms may have been nicer there, this hotel is still my favorite. The service here is incredible. My wife and I came with our 5 month old baby (and stroller), and when the front desk staff realized that the two steps built into the hallway leading to the rooms would impact our stroller, they would literally send us up in the elevator, then sprint up the stairwell to meet us at our floor and help me carry the stroller up the two steps - incredible. One employee named Pascal, may be the nicest person I've ever met. Staff always willing to help me learn italian, carry bags for us, etc. Much better service than the St. Regis. All rooms face out with amazing views, right above the heart of Positano with a convenience store very close by. I also recommend Positano over Amalfi since Amalfi is much more touristy!
