“Excellent Bargain in the heart of Amalfi”

The hotel owner was super and we enjoyed our stay there. She paid for a porter to transport our luggage to the dock and when the porter could not immediately locate us, she personally came down from her hotel to find us and to make sure everything was okay. The hotel is a renovated seminary with the original ceiling in the dining hall - very impresive.

“Amalfi's best hotel!”

Hotel Floridiana was amazing. The staff always had a smile on their face and were so helpful. They helped us figure out how to use the public transport to get us back to the airport and gave us dinner recommendations that were spot on every time! One restaurant they recommend is Taverna degli Apostoli next to the Duomo. So delicious! The breakfast is typical european fare, but the breakfast room is beautiful! Internet use was decent, although it did not work one night. The room was very clean and minibar prices were pretty cheap (if you're into that). On our last day it was pouring and they even gave us an umbrella! I can't wait to visit again!

“Floridiana lives up to expectations”

After reading so many excellent reviews of Hotel Floridiana we were rather apprehensive that we might be disappointed. Agnese, the proprietor, and her staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Certainly service with a smile. The hotel provides simple but comfortable and clean accommodation in a good location. We would not hesitate to return to Floridiana or to recommend this delightful hotel to anyone not wanting 5* luxury.
