Great location, nice hotel.Posted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Girls serving breakfast and covering reception very helpful and friendly. Great location for getting buses and just walking around Amalfi.
Cons: Didn't like how had to walk sideways into shower as door wouldn't open because the toilet was so close!
Location: Shops, restaurants, beach, bus stop all within 5 minutes walk, couldn't get a better location.
Hotel central for all services, buses, shops and restaurants. Ten day holiday passed in a flash. Very busy in the heart of Amalfi, very noisy overlooking the main square which some love as they want to "people watch" I would have preferred a room at other side of hotel and to watch the sea view! But enjoyed my stay.

Excellent location close to beachPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: The location makes getting around the area easy. The staff are wonderful.
Cons: The breakfast was very disappointing. Very little choice and of poor quality.
The hotel's location is excellent. The front of the hotel is opposite the main bus stops and the beach and two minutes walk to the ferries from where there excursions to Capri etc. The main square is to the back of the hotel where there are a huge choice of restaurants, small craft shops and the Cathedral.

Most central room in Amalfi.Posted Apr 13, 2015 on Hotels
Great location just in the very center of Amalfi. Hotel would need maintenance, but does the job. The rooms are facing either to piazza, side street or to the sea. There are only about 20 stairs to the hotel, which I think is the best offer in town. The location is only 50m from the bus stop and 100m from the ferry. You access the hotel on the left side seen from the sea, thru the tunnel and then stairs up on the right. There is no Internet.

Can't beat the locationPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The location. Family operated and super pleasant.
Cons: Rooms are a little tired but offers everything and you can't beat the location and price.
Location: The location is key. Right on the coast so super accessible to public transpertation. The ferry to Capri is minutes away.
The location can't be beat. This family operated hotel offers all the amenities of a larger hotel chain but in a cozy modest way. Breakfast included and delicious.

Walking holiday basePosted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: It's central location and views from the room of the piazza
Cons: The breakfast could be improved - some fresh fruit for instance.
Location: A great base for walking with easy access to other nearby towns on the local buses (if running). The nearby paper museum is worth a visit
A hotel with plenty of character which is right in the center of town close to restaurants for evening meals. Not much choice for after dinner drinks but not surprising in February. As a base for a walking holiday it was ideal - be prepared if walking for lots of steps up and down but fantastic views. The local people we met on are walks were also very friendly and helpful. Local buses are quite cheap and depart from just behind the hotel. Beware the half term festivals that whilst good fun do close roads. Also at this time of year landslips can also disrupt travel so be resourceful. Positano and Ravello definitely worth a visit.
